sweetpea3363:  Those were almost my BM dresses!! I had to switch to something a bit more formal because of our venue but it’s so nice to see them in a group shot, great pick 🙂

I was going to second modcloth! You can get really good quality dresses for around 80 dollars and if the colour is black you have way more selection 🙂 Good luck!

A couple of examples from that search- don’t rule out long dresses- they can be hemmed to knee length

My BM dresses came from David’s Bridal. They are knee length and have straps… and were $99.00

depending on when you need them, J.Crew usually start having their bridesmaid dresses from the previous season go on sale around November. I was able to score silk chiffon bridesmaid dresses for $65 each in a beautiful color.

kansas_nurse:  This is the dress my ladies got. It’s called Miss Kitty dress. They all loved the dress. All of them said they look skinny in it. Which is awesome because they all have different body types. I always shop at http://www.sourpussclothing.com [this is the site. It’s a punk rock site] the prices are great. This was 53 bucks and they always have sales!

Try http://www.eshakti.com.  They have lots of customizable options so you can choose neckline, length strap type etc.  Great prices and frequent sales.  Dresses can be made to your girls’ exact measurements too.  I have ordered several dresses from them and have thought they were all good quality.

+1 for eShakti.com!

I also suggest renting dresses at https://www.renttherunway.com so your bridesmaids won’t be stuck with a dress they may only wear once.  They have a bunch of different styles and sizes available for a 4 day rental for under $80.  I wish I had known about this before my bridesmaids bought their dresses from David’s Bridal, but they are very happy with the gowns they got for under $100.
