Nordstrom but i needed a younger look since my BMs are nieces the good thing is it was delivered in three days rather than the 4-6 weeks everyone at bridal stores told me we needed.

BWLE:  We had a great experience at J Crew. We waited until there was a 30% off sale and two of my bridesmaids are students and they honored their 10% student discount for all the girls, so the dresses ended up being reasonably priced. I thought the dresses were flattering on everyone and I liked their color selection. Good luck!

We got ours at a local bridal botique and they were AA dresses. For our range of sizes 0-22, that was really the only way to go for us. We just couldn’t get what we were looking for otherwise with that much of a range. I let each girl pick her own style of dress all in the same color, fabric, and length. That way we could take into account each girls style and needs. Some preffered strapless, others wanted straps, some needed more coverage due to surgical scars etc..it worked out really well for us.

Well, I did go with Alfred Angelo dresses since they had the color blue that I was looking for. It’s Mediterreanean Blue – so not navy, but not cobalt. Had Bill Levkoff had a blue like that, I probably would have gone with those dresses.

Here are what they look like though. My MOH (sister) is wearing thsi one:

And my BM (FSIL) is wearing this one:

I let them pick the style that would most flatter themselves, and are happy with their choices! I have seen my FSIL try it on cos I was there… but I have not seen my sister yet in hers. But, she’ll be home next weekend so I’ll see it then.

Not every girl will fit into one style, so I thought letting them find something that would flatter them the best would be great. That way, they feel comfortable in the dress. I’ve seen weddings where a particular dress is picked out, and only the really slim girls look the best in it, and anyone with any weight on them didn’t looke that great.

i got ours from a bridal seller on ebay ‘Little Pride Bride’ – she specialised in Dessy style dresses. she carried sizes 6-22. the colour was perfect, the dresses fantastically made and the delivery was super quick. each dress was about £60. i was so impressed i recommened her to 2 other brides who also used her and were super happy with the dresses.

Nena16:  SUPER CUTE!

We got ours from David’s Bridal. It was just easy that way. I went with each bridesmaid to help her pick one out. They each had a color and picked a style they like, so long as it was chiffon.

BWLE:  We ordered our dresses online from http://www.forherandforhim.com/ and so far the customer service has been great! It’s a little shop from California that expanded and is now based out of New York, they only take online orders, and the shipping was free! (I’m in Ontario, Canada.) We ordered during a sale so the dresses were pretty reasonable, and the more you buy the cheper it is and they had a deal for custom sizing for $10.

I wanted to do mix-matched BM dresses and this worked out the best as my girls are all over the province and it wasn’t reasonable to us all to meet up to shop. This way everyone picked their dress and posted it to a FB group so we could make sure they all went together.

Here’s a couple of the dresses my ladies will be wearing (I have 5 BMs)

My bff got her bridesmaids dresses from Nordstrom (all matchy), and mine were from ModCloth.com (non matchy, same color).

I went to a local bridal boutique and we ended up with dresses from Dessy (Lela Rose, After 6, etc) since my girls ranged in size from 00-22. I ended up doing mismatched dresses since there was no way they’d all look good in the same gown.

BWLE:  My girls really varied in sizes as well, we ended up going to a bridal salon and we got a Jim Hjelm dress. It actually looked really flattering on everyone just because of the way that it was cut.

It’s style 5228.

ETA: I did add a broach for them to wear on the side, where the rouching meets. It made it look a little fancier – and I didn’t get that color.
