My dress is currently being made. Hopefully, it should be finished by February.

I decided to use IeIe Bridal. She’s been very communicative so far. I decided to combine 2 dresses, Cosmobella 7413 and Maggie Sottero Savannah.

I got my dress from Milly Bridal, though I had a custom designed dress made by combining details from a bunch of different dresses.

Jeff liu from ebay or dressilyme. I have problems with Millybridal after they didn’t respond to me and their website access failed to work the next day.

OK, so I got my dress from bestdressprice.com.  Anjolique 921.  My issue was that i need a dress with sleeves since I’m having a traditional wedding and I didn’t want to travel to NY to buy one.

When I first got my dress I was a little bit freaked out.  The buttons were falling off and there was a bit of dirt on the bottom of the dress.  I was thinking OMG, this is from some sweatshop in CHINA.

I took it to a local seamstress who redid the zipper in the back, made the sleeves less itchy,  and couple other things.  At a total cost of $300 for the dress plus $200 for fitting, it actually turned out quite nice!

The material is lovely, so with a bit of help from a seamstress, I was able to change the dress up a bit, and saved ALOT of money.  It was definitely worth it!  I would say if you are on a budget, do it!  but make sure you have a good, reasonable seamstress to go to.  Also, MANY designer dresses are from China anyway.  I will post pics of me in the dress after the wedding….

My China bought replica dress

Here’s my story – another positive vote for Jeff Liu (his shop is called April Bridal, and is on ebay).

I have a positive vote for Dressilyme. They have been wonderful to me.

On the other hand Jeff Liu was my worst nightmare.

I have been told that maybe tomorrow it will be finished and then they will send photos…this is the dress i ordered,  a Demetrios 3127,  but instead of ivory, i have ordered Champaigne gold.  and they are making it a corsett back instead of zip and buttons.  i found some more pictures of it , back and side views,  and sent them all, so that they have no excuse about not getting it right……so i hope MY dress is something like the one i uploaded to them.  this is the dress as it should be. i ordered a fairly simple dress, as in no embellishments, as i have read that they somtimes dont get that quite right,  but i have 1,000 swarovski crystals here,  ready to add to the dress.  i might add them,  but maybe it wont need it.
