I bought my diamond and setting separate online and had a local jeweller set it.

My diamond is from James Allen and my setting is Gabriel and Co ordered from IDJ online.

I had my ring custom made off of a faycullen.com ring because I live in Canada and the site is US based and returns would have been a hassle if it didn’t work out.  You could check out etsy?.com as well, they have tonnes of semi-mounts.  I’d say google semi-mounts too and see what that brings up.

I had my ring done as a custom at http://www.krikawa.com . They do settings and you can ship your stone to them to be set. They do have a setting fee if you send your own stone though. This is why when the first stone we shipped wouldnt work we chose one from their inventory. They do offer moissanite in house though, so you could return and use one of theirs if you like their designs. They do a little of everything, and most of their settings are done custom to the stone being set, the exception is their one offs as prototypes/models on their sale portion of the website: http://www.krikawa.com/jewelry/available-now/

Even if you dont go with them just browsing their stuff is always fun. As stated they do everything: modern, simple, over the top, mokume gane, vintage inspired, nature, etc.

I got my setting from a local jeweler. It’s a True Romance setting.

I’d recommend Gabriel & Co. though. That’s who made my band and I love it. They have some amazing settings too and well priced, IMO.

Second pp’s suggestion of G&Co — they are shipping a setting for my stone as we speak 🙂

I’m getting a Gabriel and Co setting, probably from our local jeweler that sells them. They also sell them on Amazon which we’re considering.
