I haven't bought my jewelry yet, but I have been looking around on this website.
I am not wearing a necklace, so I haven't looked at their selection of necklaces.
THanks Tonya. I see their prices are listed in pounds, do you know if they ship to the US?
ooooo @Bella13 thank you for posting that! I just went to it and am loving it!
@VegasBaby, They sure do. That was my first question too. They have the prices for shipping and where they ship to on their FAQ page.
I know you said not to suggest etsy, but that's where I got my jewelery. I LOVE it, my FI loves it, his parents love it, my sister, mother and father love it. I got two custom pieces with pearls, rhinstones and in silver. http://www.etsy.com/shop/Lulusplendor I can say she is very resposive to requests, does amazing custom work, and her pieces are even more awesome in person then in photos.
I have this hair comb:

hese earrings, but with the flower switched out for the same big on as on the hair comb:

And a necklace that she seems not to have available right now. Its basically the same flower as in the hair comb and earrings with a beautiful ivory pearl dropping from it. I am thinking about ordering a bracelet to match all the above too.
Oh, and her packaging is just as beautiful as her jewelery!
I got my earrings and bracelet from Tejani. www.tejani.com
ETA: Sorry, I just reread your post and Tejani is probably more than you are looking to spend. They do have some sale stuff though. Good luck!
@rabbit, thank you. I just didn't want someone to suggest the entire site of etsy, but individual sellers on etsy is great!
@sarahnyc Tejani is beautiful! But, yes, sadly, a bit out of price range :)
I also looked at bagborrowsteal, but really want to own my jewelry to wear on special occasions!
Anyone else?
borrowing from a supplier for the store i work at... it free and i get to wear 5000 dollar earings!!! he also made my e-ring
Have you tried ebay? I know it involves sifting through tons of listings, but maybe you can search for something more specifically, or look through a few listings to find something you like and go to that seller's store. I spent about 3 hours yesterday looking through chandelier earrings and the prices are amazing.
This etsy seller also had some really nice stuff, but I didn't really look at anything aside from earrings, so I don't know the price range.
Ohhh I'm so glad I ran across this post. I've been looking for jewerly that's not an arm and a leg !

Help! I'm looking for the perfect wedding day necklace and possibly bracelet, and I feel I've exhausted all the possible places I could look.
I need more options! I'm specifically looking for something a bit vintage and whimsical, between $50-$70 for a necklace and $30-$40 for bracelet, silver toned and with some pearls if possible.
I've already looked at: JCrew, Macys, Nordstrom, Anthropolgie, Lord and Taylor, Bloomingdales, ShopStyle, Amazon, Overstock, AnnTaylor, Piperlime etc. And PLEASE, don't suggest Etsy, unless the jeweler uses semi-precious materials or something. (Don't get me wrong, I love Etsy, but I don't feel like searching through pages and pages of sellers!)
So, where did you find your special jewelry?
PS. I love this bracelet, but it's a bit out of budget, it's by Nadri and at Nordstrom's for $68
