Oooh... kitty25kat25, I think those are 1928 pieces, aren't they? I FLOVE 1928 jewelry! I looked at your earrings many times before deciding to a different direction with my wedding jewelry. BUT I did purchase my bracelet from 1928.com last week and it looks so nice with my pearl & swavroski crystal necklace & earrings. I don't have a pic of those yet since they are being made as we speak by one of my crafty and talented aunts.
i got my earrings at nordstrom. they're made by nadri and i love them. they're chandelier earrings, so i don't think i'm going to wear a necklace.
Yes, they are most definitely 1928 pieces - that line of jewelry is so pretty but also so affordable, i love it!!
i got my earrings from regina b. they have beautiful pieces and they're super nice!
My husband gave me my earrings for my wedding present (I love them!) and the necklace was borrowed from my mother in law; it was given to her by her mother in law the day before she married her husband in 1973. They were married in India, and the necklace is 18k and 24k gold. The stones, as in a lot of Indian jewelry, are not real but are high quality crystals.
I am going to attempt to attach pictures, keep in mind that the quality of uploaded pics is not the best! Both the earrings and the necklace have a flower design. My husband used the necklace to help him choose the earrings.
My FH is getting me a necklace as my wedding present. Sort of like the pic, only the colored stones will be fuchsia (either really pink rubies or dark pink sapphires), and princess cut (turned 45 degrees so they sort of "stand" on a point). I'm so excited. He has great taste in jewelry! As for the rest, I'm not sure. I'm borrowing a ruby ring from my mom (it has the pinker rubies, so it'll match!), but I haven't bought anything else yet. Kohl's sounds like a great place to start looking!
I got all my jewelry from Nordstrom. Necklace, earrings, and bracelet were all Nadri pieces.
I got mine on deployment in Dubai, it's a set of cultured pearl earrings and a necklace. Is anyone else doing pearls?
Beautiful stuff, ladies!
I'm planning on buying earrings from Anna Bellagio. Not planning on having a necklace with my gown unless it's a simple, pear-shaped diamond pendant.
I'm still on the lookout for a perfect, reasonably priced bracelet, though!
heirloom turquoise cuff from my great grandmother and some turquoise earrings. And my mom's diamond band
I'll probably end up going to a department store like Kohls, I love that look! Can't wait to go accessory shopping!
I bought my hair jewelry from a cart inside the mall. My earrings are a gift from my FH (havent seen them yet), and I will wear a bracelet (the gift my sister received from her husband on the day of her wedding shower) it's my something borrowed.
Etsy!
I got my necklace from Bel Canto (it's vintage Miriam Haskell)
Bracelet from Naoki (though I'm not sure it totally fits with my dress, so you may see it featured in classifieds!)
Wedding ring for him from Robandlean... (titanium with wood inlay)
Etsy rocks my world!
I made my own hair jewelry. I don't have a websized pic, so here is a link to a pick I have: http://bp0.blogger.com/_QYingAV23oA/SJI640olktI/AAAAAAAAAMk/U0M7l4LgIMo/s1600-h/crystalhairpins_001.JPG
First, I must give you some back ground information. One of my hobbies is making jewelry. I've been making it since about 1996 and I am pretty good, but it is an expensive hobby, it is hard on my eyes and finger-tips, and I never found a way to make any real money at it; so, it remains a hobby. I made my best friends wedding jewelry a few years ago, and I've made lots of bridal party jewelry. However, due to time restrictions I did not make my own bm's jewelry; instead, I found someone who makes a similar style to myself and I hired out! Okay, so I got a little off topic.
The point is that I have tons of swarovoski crystals and gold wire just sitting around my house so I played with it and Voila!
I didn't buy any new jewelry- it was all stuff that I had been given as gifts or borrowed.
I got mine at Tejani! I loved her stuff and the owner is a sweetheart.
These are the ones I got
Hi!
I'm having Liza Shtromberg do all of my jewelry. The bridesmaids are all wearing CZ and silver earrings. Matching stones but different styles.
As for the rings, I am custom ordering them (both his and mine.) and am still deciding. Take a look:
Etsy!!! I worked with a GREAT seller to custom make the bracelet. I should be getting them in a week or two - I'll post more when I receive them!
I found a great site for my bridal jewelry and bridesmaid jewelry. It is a custom site and I was able to find the most perfect colors to match my bridesmaids dresses. Check it out. www.mellabeads.com
I only plan to wear earrings and a bracelet. I haven't gotten my earrings yet but am actively looking for Nadri and on the Carolee website. I would love Tejani but I just can't afford it with the other accessory purchases I have already made.
I purchased my bracelet from this sweet seller on Etsy:
@ tenmylove: love love love your bracelet!! It's beautiful!!
@tenmylove: That etsy seller is such a great find! I wish I had found her for my wedding becaue your bracelet is seriously A-M-A-Z-I-N-G as is all the stuff she is selling.
Ok seriously, I have to stop looking at her stuff! I'm having so many "I wish I wore that" moments!
Thank you for the sweet compliments! I spent so much time scouring Etsy for a bracelet like that and finally found "the one" - lol.
Earrings: My "something borrowed" from my best friend/MOH. I wore her amazing diamond, drop earrings that her parents gave her for her own wedding. Beautiful friend and earrings!
Right hand Ring: DH got me my "something blue" ring for my 28th birthday before the wedding. It was a gorgeous London Blue Topaz ring with diamond accents, set in White Gold. I adore him and the fact that he chose it for my "Something Blue" :)
Bracelet: Haute Bride - bought it from a former bride on the Knot "Trash to Treasure" page. LOVED IT! STILL love it !!! :)
Hair Comb: Haute Bride - got it made to match bracelet - LOVED IT TOO!
My FI bought the jewlery for me but did not say where. But, he did say that none of it was real. they are my something new and i love that he gave them to me. I could not afford real jewlery anyway. But I sometimes wish I could.
my fiance bought me my set from etsy.com. i LOVE it! it's made with antique ivory flowers.
I got mine from Costco!!
I really wanted "real" jewelry to wear, and ended up getting white gold and diamond mini-chandeleir earrings, as well as a white gold diamond and pearl bracelet. It was a chunk of money, still (around $600), but still less than what some folks spend on a veil!
My mom had a bracelet and earrings made from an old rhinestone choker necklace that belonged to my grandmother. I am really excited about how it turned out and once my mom gives it to me, I'll post some pictures!
Nadri from Bloomingdales! Although I purchased stuff from www.etsy.com too! In the end I went with the Nadri's!
I actually already had the jewelry I'm using! I have my pearls I got when I was younger, and a bracelet and necklace set from Avon in the shape of calla lilies and it has pearls. Which is awesome because our flowers are calla lilies!!!
I haven't settled on earrings yet, but one piece that I have to wear is this shell and pearl bracelet my fiance bought me in San Diego on a vacation (my something old).
I got my whole bridal party's from www.purelyelegant.etsy.com. I had it custom made for under $20 for the bridesmaids and under $40 for myself (I bought several pieces).
Ok I'm just going to try this again because I clearly failed attaching them the first time. Mine are from an etsy seller, purelyelegant.etsy.com. Her prices were very reasonable (under $20 for the bridesmaids and under $40 for me).
i got my jewelry at www.dawnsdesignerjewelry.com. Prices are reasonable and the jewelry is made of high quality swarovski crystals and pearls.
@killerpenguins05: I love your necklace! It's so beautiful and unique!!
I got mine from Fojo off Amazon. I was just searching for sapphire studs, likely lab created, and found these beauties:
Still looking for other jewelery, if any, and got some great ideas from previous posters!!

After searching high & low for the perfect jewelry to go with my halter dress, I ended up finding it at the most random of places - Kohl's! I got a necklace and earrings for only $50 total!
Where'd you get your jewelry?
