I went to Fedex Office and also used vistaprint.com. I would not recommend fedex office, but would definitely give a ++ to vistaprint
Kinkos!! It helps if you can have them print 2+ per page and then they can even cut them for you. I attempted the cutting on my own but it was driving me crazy and I sucked at it sooo I took them back and just paid a tiny bit more for them to do it for me :) They did such a great job and the quality looked completely professional - couldn't have been happier with them.
We used cat print and had a great experience with them. I got our proofs in 2 days and was really pleased with the customer service from them!
Thanks! I ordered sample packs from cat print and vista print, hopefully they arrive soon! For our Save the dates I'll need to print on both sides, so I want to make sure I find a place that can do that.
@Genesee: i printed my maps, which were double sided, through catprint. they looked fabulous.
@iggies: Thanks, I just got a sample pack from catprint and it looks great! I'm going to use them for our Save the Dates which I need to finish asap!
I have used Vistaprint before and was extremely happy with the result!
For our invitations i designed them, bought the paper somewhere else and had them printed at a local print shop. From calling i found out that Staples, Kinkos, etc. wouldn't print on my paper if i wasn't buying it from them. I had used Stardream paper, so in the end i had no choice but a local print shop. Although i am uber happy about how it ended up looking! the local shop paid alot of attention and let me do test prints, etc before doing the whole wedding invitation suite.
I got the linen stock from Catprint and it turned out amazingly.

Hi Bees! For those of you DIYing or having a custom design made for your invites and other paper goods, where did you go for printing? Did you do it online, or did you go to a local shop? I will be designing most of our paper products and I'm not sure where to have them printed (I am not printing them on a home printer). Great quality and prices are always a plus!
Some places I'm thinking of: kinkos, vistaprint, catprint, overnightprints, or maybe a local shop (I'm in LA).
Thanks!
