We went to Phuket for 9 nights then onto LA, Vegas and New York for a couple of weeks for our honeymoon. So I may not be the best help if you are wanting an international honeymoon. However, Phuket was amazing and I would recommend a honeymoon there in a heart beat!
I mean, honestly, we're pretty open. It doesn't necessarily have to be international. Thank you so much for responding!
Husband and I went on a Meditterrian Cruise for 10 days to Italy it was beauitful
@KevinsWife: I'm so glad you two were able to have such an enjoyable time! Do you mind if I ask what time of year you went? FI and I will be going on our honeymoon in December, and I'm just a little wary of the cold at that time....
My parents went to Virginia Beach, my sister and BIL went to St.Lucia, friends of mine went to Italy, we want to go to Hawaii :)
We just booked our honeymoon.. we're going to St. Lucia and staying at the Sandals Grande resort. :) I've never been to St. Lucia, but I know other people who have, and they said it's gorgeous.. it's a little more unique than a lot of the other Caribbean islands - it not only has gorgeous beaches, but rainforest and mountains, too.
I can't wait! Good luck with whatever you decide - I know it's a tough decision!

FI and I are starting to look at the honeymoon thing. In looking through some of the topics started on the Honeymoon board, there seemed to be a lot of brides-to-be posting about where they would be going and who else would also be going there at some point. I'd really like some perspective from the married bees? Where did you go and what did you like most/least? Or, from the engaged bees who have their honeymoon site chosen, what made you decide that locale? It just seems like there are too many amazing places to visit out there...
