I know this isn't Orange County but I got my dress at La Soie in Torrance and I had the best experience. They were super helpful, the store is beautiful and the service was excellent. AND they let you take pictures.
I liked Mariposa the best out of the places I went... My two best friends also got their dresses from Mariposa. The ladies were all super nice. They have a great selection of dresses at reasonable prices. When I went to Alfred Angelo I felt like they were too pushy & trying to hard to get me to buy a dress the first time I was there (in fact I even told them it was the first time I was even trying on wedding dresses)... At Mon Amie they made me feel like I wasn't good enough to shop there (aka I didn't have enough money, & I hadn't even told them my budget yet)...
And the let you take pictures at Mariposa :-)
@alicialoveschase: yeah i just want to find a place where they wont make me feel uncomfortable. Some bridal shops can be a bit snooty so i just wanted to know where other brides had good experiances. i liked mariposa since they carry the designer i like.. i have yet to go in and try on dresses there. thanks for the feed back. :)
@scadadle15: oooh.. i think i will check that place out.. do you know if they care allure bridal?
I bought my wedding gown at The Dresser in Fullerton, and I had the BEST time there. They were so nice, accommodating, and made the day so amazingly special. I went in twice, first time with my mom, and second time with my bridesmaids, moms, grandmother. I had like 12 people with me and they set up a time in the morning so I could have the whole place to myself with my friends and family. They kept in mind my buget when bringing me dresses and just made it so much fun! If you do go to The Dresser, ask for Tony. She helped me and was wonderful!!! She seriously made the dress shopping experience wonderful.
@LivingHappilyEverAfter: i thought about the Dresser... did they have a good selection there? & thanks for your input :)
I bought my gown at Jinny's in HB and I loved it there (you can't take photos until you purchase though). They have every Maggie I could think of, and several other designers as well. All of the girls there were super nice and not pushy or snooty at all. I recommend them to every OC/IE bride I encounter.
I bought my gown at "The White Dress" in Corona Del Mar! The place is super cute, with giant, beutiful, dressing rooms. The staff is incredibly helpful! They pop open a bottle of champagne once you've said "YES" to the dress! You even sign the cork of your champagne bottle and they put it in one of the vases that decorates the shop!

Hi Bees!

I want to start looking at bridal gowns but i want to find the place to do so. So bees tell me where you went and lets here your reviews on selections, staff, overall experiance....
Maybe you guys can help me find a good spot! ;)
