I had this same question about a month ago and nobody could give me an answer.

I took a risk and had mounted photos done at Walmart. Mine turned out great. The colors are beautiful. Our wedding was this past weekend and we had people over. They fell in love with our photos and were SHOCKED to find out we did them at Walmart. I just made sure to check them before I left the store for peeling corners and such.

Small print wise, I’ve used Walgreens as well. Walgreens same day photos only come in glossy and I think our photos look bette in matte. Walmart did a very nice job on the 5x7s for the favors.

I recommend that my clients get prints from adoramapix.com or mpix.com

I also like mpix.  They are little more expensive than walmart, like .10 more per print for 4×6.  But their quality is way better.  Definitely worth it if you paid for a professional photographer.

Another vote for mpix.com – I had all my prints done through them and they turned out great!

I’ve used mpix and Walmart. Really couldn’t tell a difference.

SilaC:  I have used mpix– really nice but can be expensive  walgreens- pretty good but DO NOT get their instant pics they suck walmart– didn’t love it shutterfly– took awhile to get but I got 101 free with the code, they were good, and didnt take very long to do.

I would say I will print guest photos on shutterfly.

I would google professional photography jobs in your area. They will often print for Brides and the quality will be ideal for wedding images.

i made a beautiful album on Moleskine, a milk photo album…it came in a beautiful presentation box.  I made prints on shutterfly, it was nice since my parents line in another state that i could ship some of the order to me, and some to them.  I plan on canvases when i can decide what i want, my friend bought hers from shutterfly and they came out great.  I will probally do shutterfly or my publisher for the canvas (sister companies).
