I used J. Crew. Nice variety of styles, no need for people to make special trips for measurements, and they always seem to be having a sale. The only draw back is that they don't have a rainbow of color choices, but there are plenty to fit most color schemes.
@Jeannine @ Small Chic: Yeah, we got our dresses on Final Sale. Regularly priced at almost two hundred bucks, but my girls paid less than fifty bucks each!!
@brideatbeach:I started a thread about mine, I was so excited. I live an hour from the headquarters and they started a big warehouse sale two weeks ago. At these sales, everything is in cardboard boxes. I walked in and dumped a box of dresses in my color into the trash bag (they give everyone a trash bag on the way in). I got 9 dresses (needed to give a few girls size options) for $30 each.
I imagine the $270 I spent on 9 would have bought 1 or 2 at most bridal shops. :)
Davids Bridal. It was one of the few places my girls could try on the dress in their size.
we are getting ours from Modcloth.com. I would reccommend them if you are doing the mismatched bridesmaid thing
Alfred Angelo--they were really nice, had lots of styles, reasonably prices and my MOH was able to buy extra straps and had the seamstress change them.
I had intended to buy knock-offs online, but I found a good deal on a flattering dress from Alfred Angelo.
My girls' are from Alfred Angelo. They have lots of styles and colors to choose from.
My girls are also choosing their own dresses from Modcloth.com :)
My bridesmaids got them on sale at JCrew for $60!
Here is a picture I found with the same dresses. Trying to decide what I can add to make the dresses look less plain. They don't come with the blue flower, but I love the look.
Mine came from Sears department store!! they are navy blue, $60 a piece, was a total steal!
David's bridal. They had one of the better selections of long gowns that were reasonably priced.

We just bought our Alfred Sung dresses from Netbride. They won't be in for another month or so.
netbride.com.. They were great! You get emails that keep you updated on the status of the dresses. We got $200+ Bill Levkoff dresses for $119!
we're doing alfred sung. the girls wanted something in dupioni and i only found a few designers with dupioni -- alfred sung, watters, and PoB. my girls are all over the country and watters and PoB were not as easy to find as alfred sung. and since i told the girls they could mix and match the styles, we found alfred sung's dresses a little more cohesive than watters or PoB.
My girls are getting their gowns from Amsale. They're all the same color and fabric, but they're each choosing whatever style they like. I love Amsale, but I also liked that they had SO many different style options. There are so many different body types in my wedding (ranging from size 00 to size 22) - this way each girl could choose a gown she loves and feels great in.
Davids bridal. I let the girls choose whatever long dress they each wanted in horizon. (I really wanted to go with Dessy dresses, but most of the girls are on a budget. (The irony being most of them STILL ended up getting dresses ~$150!)
perfectbridal.com - we bought their Alfred Angelo dresses for almost half the price from there.
I am having all of my girls wear different dresses some got them from bridal shops one got one from tjmaxx
I got my bridesmaid gowns from the shop I bought my wedding dress cause they match mine. Here is the dress. Each one is in a different color.

My girls got theirs from JCrew.com - it was part of the summer sale and the dresses ended up being $93! They are silk and beautiful and can definitly be worn again. I suggest visiting Jcrew.com often and waiting for the right thing to be on sale!

Bella Bridesmaids! The store was ridiculously cute and I fell in love with it and their dresses!
I got mine at the boutique that I got my dress at. We got a discount that included free alterations and the woman at the store is so sweet, I knew she would help us find something beautiful. We went with a strapless sweetheart neckline dress by Watters in the Foliage color. It is a darker teal color that I am in love with! They even have pockets, which all the girls love and will definitely be something that they can wear again. They were 200 with the discount but I think they are definitely worth it :) The Watters website has a lot of very pretty dreses available in TONS of different fabrics and colors.
Here is the post I put up yesterday about them:
