Just curious - there are so many options :)
We purchased mine from Shane Co. and we wouldn't have chosen anywhere else! They offer a free unconditional lifetime warranty on all the diamonds and the setting; they also offer free unlimited sizing, cleaning and re-dipping (and the sales people do NOT work on commission!)

From my grandma, who got it from my late grandpa when he proposed. No idea where he got it! (I post this WAY too often, should I stop?)

@Cupcake2012: Blue Nile doesn't have any votes yet!! :)
@SpecialSundae: No way! Keep posting it - it's beautiful and what a great back story! :)
@SpecialSundae: I've never seen it before, so you don't post too often! :) Plus, there is no such thing as too often. It is gorgeous!
Other: center diamond from GoodOldGold, setting from Eternity Diamonds
At Baron's Jeweler! I love our diamond guy there, he knows pretty much all there is to know about diamonds and he helped us out a lot when we wanted to upgrade. My ring is being upgraded right now (I'm NAKED!), but here is a pic of what it used to look like.

Mine is from a local family run jewelry shop. I love the stuff they have there, it's always unique and so different from all the big companies. I go in there all the time just to see the new pieces they get in. Sometimes they even buy estate jewelry, so it's really fun to see all the real vintage stuff. Well, this is mine, which I've posted a lot lately :)
Mine was given to Mr.ND by my grandma, who had inherited it from her aunt. I have no idea where my great-great-uncle picked it up, but I sure love his taste in jewelry :-)
Side view of my ring inside of Mr.ND's.
We got ours at a local jeweler here in Chicago: Windy City Diamonds. Mine was custom made with the help of the owner, who has been a jeweler for over 30 years and owns a second business selling wholesale diamonds to other shops, so he had the best prices! He had the best customer service and best prices by far, even better than the chain stores! I cannot recommend them enough!

Its my great grandmothers. She was married in 1926. It was left to my grandmother when she passed away, who gave it to Mr. last December.

Mine is from MoissaniteCo! FI picked it out himself and I couldn't be happier! Mine is actually an octagon cut with double prongs, which I liked since it was a bit different :-)
FI said their customer service was awesome, and we'll be ordering my wedding band from them as well.

@mandypop: That is gorgeous! Your great grandpa knew what he was doing when he picked it out for great grandma! I LOVE when rings have family history to them!
@miz fizzix: Thank you, I love it so much. Every once in a while I glance at it and blows me away that its been around for 90 years!
If this ring hadn't been in the fam, I would have had a Moissy too, I had already told the Mr no new diamonds for humanitarian reasons.
I voted for Zales, but it's actually from the Canadian equivalent which is called Peoples Jewellers here.

@HeatherMM: I never get tired of your ring! I love it! Never seen anything like it:)
Local jewelry store here...There are only 2 stores in Ft Lauderdale that carry Tacori, and I wanted to try this on and see it in person, so we went there, and I almost passed out when I put it on my finger. Dh was like, "OKAY...Done and done here."

My center stone is from Blue Nile and my setting is semi custom made.
My e-ring is from a local jeweller so the design is a one off. It's called Rock Lobster and it's a contemporary, modern style of place.
Much better than these old fashioned jewellers with padded cushions for rings and green carpet, oh and curtains in the windows!
this pic was taken the day it was given to me, and before it was resized, so excuse the awkward fingers :) it's from zales, and i love it
FI got my engagement ring from a family-owned jeweler, but we're getting our wedding bands from Shane Co!! We love the service there and the selection is huge.
FI's grandfather came up to him Thanksgiving last year telling him that FI's great grandmother's rings were ready for him to use. FI thanked him and took a month to propose on Christmas Eve!

Local but large jeweler here in the city called The Diamond Cellar.

Blue Nile =)

My wedding band was from Robbins Brothers and his from Kay.
E-ring from Adiamor.com (like blue nile), wedding band from a family friend who is a jeweler:
LeVaron Jeweler for me (online but located in NY), though the center diamond was my grandmother's.

DH got my engagement ring from a local jeweler and we got my wedding band from jared and his from overstock.com
Mine is from Tacori like another bee posted, so we got it a local store who is a dealer.
My FI got mine from a local jewler that my aunt buys all of her jewelry from. He did an AMAZING job! Couldn't have asked for a more gorgeous symbol of our love!

E-ring came from Good Old Gold's Brick & Morter store. FI's band came from them as well, we were very happy working with them. My band was inherited.
