This is a good freaking question! I was looking for some at staples, and ended up buying just plan "sticker paper" that I can cut myself. None of the labels came in the correct size. I'll see how this turns out, and let you know!
Yup I just used sticker paper that came in 8.5x11 sheets, then used a paper cutter to cut my labels to the desired size. I got the OfficeMax brand... they're called "white full sheet labels" (pretty creative name huh?
)
I got 700 wrap-around labels (size 7.5 x 1.5) for like 20 dollars
http://www.onlinelabels.com has tons of printable blank labels in tons of sizes. I don't know what you were thinking for A2 envelopes, but maybe the 2 x 5 would work?
[Edit] d'oh! June42011 beat me by like 30 seconds! Also, I should say that I found a better price on the size I needed (8 x 2 for A8 envelopes) on Amazon, so it's worth googling whatever dimensions you want - ie "2 x 5 label" - and just seeing what comes up.
You can also design them in Excel or Word and print them on any paper you want. Then use a glue stick or spray adhesive to put them on the envelope. For our save-the-dates, we designed super simple ones but printed them out on a beautiful feathery irridescent paper and then sprayed them with adhesive.
@rawrkitty1022: Our envelopes are also A2. Since we are kinda lazy/don't have time to cut and round corners, we decided to use the 2"x4" Avery Shipping Labels (Ref. 8163). We bought them at Staples in a really cool deal that u can still get (500 labels for only $7.99 after rebate!! you can't beat that!!). The cool thing is that you can get the template at avery.com :)
I guess they might look a bit chubby, I wish we could get the 2"x5" labels with no effort, but we'll hold on to these ones for the sake of our sanity!
What we are doing is using 1.25" of the width for the return address and the rest (2.75") for the shipping address. . .
Here is a sample of our design:

And this is how it would look on the envelopes:

I'm loving the wrap around label look that many bees are using to address their invitations. My fiance and I are designing and printing our own postcard invitations and mailing them in size A2 envelopes. I am looking to purchase plain white (so we can decorate and print them ourselves) wrap around labels. Where can I buy them? What brands make them? Thanks!
