I am a Sephora gal too - - I also go to Ulta - - There is one thing that I get from the department store and thats my Prescriptives Concealer, lol
I buy bare escentuals and since I get points from Sephora and usually free shipping, I just order from them.
I'm a Mary Kay girl here. It works well with my skin, and since I don't like to experiment with makeup, I will probably always be a Mary Kay girl.
being a redhead and very fair, i have the hardest time finding foundation/concealer, etc to match my skintone! i have found that MAC matches me best so i buy most of my basics from there. i also love their selection of eye shadows.
for everything else, i would have to call upon my "mild" obsession with sephora. when i lived in the city, i was a regular, but now living in a small town (my fiance is in the Air Force), i buy online. i love Laura Mercier primer, Diorshow mascara and and Nars lipgloss. The best is getting freebies & samples with your order, too!

sephora (nars brand) & department stores (bobbi brown & chanel ) & target (cover girl)
I'm a Sephora girl, too- but I also get my mascara at the drugstore! I've tried the more expensive mascaras, but I always end up coming back to my Maybelline Great Lash in the pink and green tube.
I get mine from department stores mostly, but online not at the counter (usually) since I don't have department stores with high-end makeup counters in a 3 hour radius!
Sephora, Mary Kay, and Clinique. I get certain products from each store
I get mine at the drugstore. Covergirl powder and blush, mabeline mascara, and some random brand of eyeshadow! That's all I wear :)
I get the majority of my stuff at Sephora, but I occasionally need to go to a department store because I use MAC foundation. Every once in a while I'll try a drugstore lip color.

I chose other. Mine is a pretty good mix of everything. Sephora, MU counters, drugstore.

I usually wanter into bloomingdales and buy one makeup product at a time from Bobbi Brown, lancome or Nars.
