I wear my ring everywhere, unless I forget. The only time it’s off is when I shower, wash my face or wash dishes.

I’m not engaged yet, but I take my promise ring off to do dishes and shower and that is about it. I do everything else with it on.

I was given a simple silver band. It was meant to be a wedding band, but it looks really silly with my e-ring, so i use it as a stand in. I swap the e=ring for the band when I am at roller derby practice, when I clean and cook, and while I sleep. When I am in the bath, I don’t wear either, as they’re both a bit loose at this point. But since I have a more elaborate setting, ymmv–if I had a plain yellow gold solitaire in six-prong, I would probably wear it for just about everything, since I wouldn’t have to worry about losing side-stones, fading the rhodium, or losing the center stone.

The band came from FI’s mom. When I realized I wanted it to be a stand-in rather than my band, I made him propose with it, too, so it could be just as much a legit e-ring as my original one 😀

I only take mine off doing messy things like making hamburger patties.

Washing very oily pots, rock climbing, hand intensive sports, unfamilar countries.  Beaches and pools are fine with me.

I take my ring off when I shower, and when I can (or think of it) I take it off when I wash my hands. This is simply so that I don’t have to get it cleaned as often, soap-residued diamond is not a sparkly one…

I also don’t sleep with my ring on, I bang it on the wall sometimes and don’t like doing that.

Other than that I am just careful not to hit it on anything or droping it.

But hey, life happens!

I don’t wear it when cooking messy things (raw meat, dough of any kind, etc.).  I also take the ring of when I put on lotion, shower, do my makeup, work with gym equipment, and go to the beach.

I am the same as most people, off for exercise, dishes, cooking gross things, shower etc. I also take it off while I sleep because I tend to keep my hands near my face and the diamond has poked me in the eye before.

I take my ring off whenever I am home.

I also don’t wear it horseback riding 🙂

I wear it everywhere when we travel. When I’m cooking and dealing with dough and raw meat, I take it off. It also comes off when I’m showering and sleeping.
