I’ve noticed that so many bees have lived in many different states/countries, etc. I never realized how many people move around so much in their lifetime!
I’m from NY and have lived here all my life. FI and I are moving out of NY and this will be my first time living somewhere else (SC – I must stop writing this in every post, don’t know if you can all tell I’m excited! haha).
I’m curious to know – What countries and cities have you lived in and what did you like and dislike about each place you’ve lived? And – if you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

haha love your post!
I have lived in PA most of my life in the valley and is quite beautiful! You can drive out and see all the beautiful farmland, cows, Amish country, etc.. but have the city here also.
I lived in Killeen TX for a few months – hated it weather was finicky as all get out!
Same as you looking to move hopefully to SC in the next few years!!

I’ve lived in suburban Maryland and NYC. They each have their good and bad points.

Lived in Maryland all of my life…in suburbs growing up, on the Eastern Shore for college, and now live in Baltimore city 🙂

Southern California, Missouri, the Netherlands, Japan, and now Northern California.
I’m a Cali girl at heart, but if I could live anywhere it would probably be London.

Born in Moscow, grow up in NYC, educated in Virginia, lived after college in LA, now residing in Atlanta (at least until 2015). I love moving around and traveling.

I was born/raised in Louisiana. We moved around a few times in the state. My parents moved us outside of Mobile, AL when I was in elementary school. I moved back to Louisiana for college and after. I did a short stint in Montana in 2009 (6 months) and for work purposes I moved to Tennessee in 2010 through the present. I loved living on the Gulf– and would move back in a heartbeat. DH’s job has us limited for the moment, but a move ( somewhere, it’s undetermined) could happen in the next year or so.

@Carolyn72: PA sounds beautiful! Are you closer to the Phili area or Pittsburgh area?
@Regina Phalange: WOW. That’s impressive! What do you love about London?
@atlbride2013: You’ve lived everywhere, too! What’s your fave place??

and various cities in California.
(Dad was a marine, we went where he was stationed)

@atlbride2013: Haha, it was rural-middle-of-nowhere Japan though…
@futuremrsk18: Easy to navigate/good public transportation, picturesque, amazing theatre/art scene, multicultural, and I have a slight obsession with all things British

I was born in the Appalachian Mts of southwest Virginia, went to college and lived for a few years afterward in east Tennessee, moved to Charlotte, North Carolina for a job and it’s the most hateful place I’ve ever lived, then moved right outside Baltimore, Maryland for work and have been here for over 11 years. I’m done until I retire. 🙂
