People were surprised when they heard we were doing engagement pics, I don’t think it’s as common in Australia. A lot of questions as to what we would do with them…
Well… save the dates, countless photo frames, six big A3 printouts on the pinboard behind my computer at work, soon to be phone covers and even my BANK CARD (lol) later… I’d say we got our money’s worth! lol.
What other slightly oddball uses have you put your engagement photos to? Can you beat a bank card?!!!! lol

@goingtotherooftopoflove: Well I live in Canada, its very common here to get engagemnet photos. Our photographer included them in our package. Our venue is posting our picture of our choice on a video board for everyone to see (our venue is a casino and hotel) and the other board which room its in. Our photographer is turning our engagement shoot into a guest book for people to sign at our wedding. People put engagement pictures to announce their wedding in the paper (not as many people do it in my area as they use to). Now a days Walmart can turn any picture into a blanket, coffee mug, calendar etc and some people use them as their backgrounds on their computer/phones. Some use them as Save the Dates as well.

Another Canada bride here. We had ours taken 2 weeks ago so we haven’t got them back yet. But it’ll be nice to have pretty pictures of us, to have in a frame at work, to display in our house, for my mom to send in Christmas cards and for us to make a guest book for people to see/sign in at the wedding.

@goingtotherooftopoflove: I made a shutterfly photo book of them and used them for our guest book. 🙂
