Where is a good place to start with jewelry?

I started by typing ‘wedding bracelet’ or ‘wedding earring’ into Etsy and scrolling through the thousand and thousand of options.   If something caught my eye I’d favorite it.  One I had a good number of items in my favorites list, I was able to see what styles I liked.    It really helped me to get an idea of what I wanted so I could expand my search outside of etsy knowing what I wanted to find.

It depends on what you want. I just paid for my tea-ceremony jewelry. (You can get the rhinestones in white/clear instead of red) A Bee recommended me to check out Tao Bao — lots of bling on there.

I basically chose this because I wanted to feel like an ancient Chinese princess with my very simple/plain kua, but you could also wear this with the chain across the back of the head — rather on the forehead, like shown in the picture.

Also check out AmoreTreasure from Etsy! Another Bee recommended it and I found gifts for my MOH that way. 🙂

@nocleverbeepun:  A simple strand of pearls can go with a traditional red dress. 🙂

Jojbuy (Tao Bao agent) took a while to order the product before asking me to pay for shipping/delivery. So, if you were to order now, you’d have to let them know that it’s a rush order.

I decided against necklaces since during the tea ceremony, there will be a handful of yellow 24K gold jewelry given by relatives. I’m a little scared to be receiving that much gold… especially my mom’s necklace that my grandpa gave her when she got married.

A little hair ornament would go a long way! Good luck with your search! I was also recommended JJHouse.com for hair jewelry. Google for 饰 or 红发饰 (Red hair accessory).

@DisneyKb:  Thanks! 🙂 I’m looking forward to receiving it next month. I cheaped out on shipping; if it arrives, it arrives. I spent about $12 USD in total, after shipping.

@DisneyKb:  Here are a few sites I ordered from and had good luck!

bellatiara.com

affordableelegancebridal.com

weddingfactorydirect.com

etsy.com

Bella tiara has amazing accessories and I got my earrings there and they were to die for! On wedding factory direct they have really good prices and the veils are much much cheaper there!

Either someone had posted a link to this store or there was an ad on the side bar:

http://www.tejani.com

I found a set I liked, then waited for a sale.  I got them at 40% off, and of course another two weeks later they were 50% off!  Oh well.  I Also picked a fascinator off Etsy that had a crystal that was the same shape as the earrings and bracelet I got.
