Just a fun post to see where everyone is celebrating their bachelorette parties. What games do you want to play at it? What are some unique ideas?
We're spending a couple of nights in Big Bear Mountain and we're going to go on a zipline. I'm so excited!
We are renting a limo or party bus (depending on how many people can make it) and we are going wine tasting! Then having a sleepover at a hotel. I can't waittttt!
For mine we went out for dinner, and then went to this cool kareoke bar. You get to rent your own room, so you're only doing kareoke with your friends! It was great, we got to pick all the songs we wanted.
For mine, we were in Atlantic City and we spent the day at the beach, went out to dinner, saw a comedy show, they went to some club to go dancing. We all stayed in the hotel...it was a blast!
I am in the Minneapolis area and we are doing mine in Duluth MN up by Lake Superior
We're going to my favorite bar from college (we're getting married at our alma matre). I'm so excited, I haven't been back there in forever, and it has so many good memories!
We're going to an off Broadway show then out for a nice dinner and some drinks.
@Leprechaun: That's so fun! We're going back to our fave bar from University for our first anniversary. It's where we met!
@Brianalaura: Private karaoke sounds awesome! That must have been a great time.
We are going to go to Epcot and drink around the world.
I Don't know!!! My girls are making mine a surprise...All I know is the weekend...They wont even tell me what to pack and its driving me crazzzzy...lol.
They know me very well though so I don't doubt that its gonna be perfect and at least this way I don't have to focus on any details regarding the bach party!! (I have tried to break each of them many times to get any details out of them possible and they just are not budging !!)
We are going to New Orleans in July. I am so excited for a girls trip finally. There is about 12 of us going so it should be nothing but crrazzy.
We're going to the horse racing (Ascot - a very popular English racecourse) and having a picnic, followed by drink, dinner, more drinks and dancing.
I just got back! My wonderful BM's surprised me with a girls' getaway to Atlantis in the Bahamas! It was AWESOME!!! they had all kinds of cool surprises lined up..like a dolphin encounter, and a spa day! They got us a VIP table at the club one night and had cool shirts for us all to wear...then when we got back to the room, they surprised me with "newlywed Game-type questions that they had asked my fiance ahead of time and i had to answer! It was one of the best times of my life!!!
@pooks75: Cool! We talked about going to the Atlantis. We're going to Vegas for four days in April.
We are going out to dinner and wineries or a piano bar! Simple but lots of fun!
Either a house in Sonoma County or a cottage on a lake in Wisconsin.. My MOHs are still planning!!
We celebrated my bachelorette party in DC. The first night we hung out at my house, played games, ate and drank a lot of wine. We had penis pasta, looked at Justin Bieber magazines and played typical bachelorette party games. Saturday night we went to a Mexican restaurant for dinner then bar hopping and then ended the night with a hookah bar. I had an awesome time!
My BMs are planning to rent a limo/party bus and then we're going to tour some local wineries that about an hour away. I'm not the "crazy bachelorette party" type where we all wear pink boas and fake penises haha. This is definitely much more in line with my style.
FI and I decided not to have one since neither of us drink, we rented out the entire bowling alley for 4 hours and will have the entire bridal party there SO there with food ,dj> its the girls against the guys and we have prizes for the winning team.
On Saturday the girls are going to the nail salon and to lunch earlier in the day. We'll get together for dinner then separate to get ready for the night. We're then probably going to a drag show and a few martini bars.
Yay! Love this post!
Me and my girlfriends have been going to cape cod for vacation for the past 8 years. We have stayed at the same hotel and if we stay for longer than a few days we got this cute house within walking distance to the bars. We are going to CC but I don't knwo anything else!!! I can't wait. I am really lucky to have some of the best girlfriends on earth.
I had the stereotypical bachelorette party. I went out to eat, went to a bar, then came home to a stripper! LOL. We played pin the junk on the hunk.
My ten-year college reunion is the weekend before the wedding and my MOH and some close girlfriends live in the area (Portland, OR), so we're rolling the reunion and the bachelorette into one weekend. I have a feeling I'm going to need the whole week to recover...
I'm going to Atlantic City in April!! My bridesmaids won't let me know any of the other details other than that. So excited!!
Mine is actually going to be at my house.. LOL. But I have a bigger living room area than they do so they asked if it could be here. They are kicking me out of the house for the day and setting up something or the other. Guess it will be a surprise.
Mine was in Nashville. We went shopping, ate yummy food and went to bars! It was GREAT!
Going to Savannah for the St. Patricks Day festival! St. Pat's is my favorite holiday - can't wait to get green and celebrate with my girls!
Girls weekend in Nantucket at the end of June! So excited!! Love my BM's!
We're headed to ATX (Austin, Texas) and I am beyond excited. I went to HS here and haven't been back in 8 years and I miss TEXAS SO MUCH! I'm trying to convince FI to move there after we get married....we'll see if that ever happens.
Anyway...I don't know what we're doing yet, but I am beyond excited!!!!!!!
@rubyme:SO Exciting! My wedding is in Savannah, I can't wait...love that town and they know how to do St. Pattys!
I'm probably chartering a small yacht from this guy who lives on his yacht and charters it for friends only or friends of friends (my situation). He only charges enough to cover gas and to pocket a couple hundred bucks, it's not ridiculously expensive. $60 a head plus food and booze. It's big enough to comfortably have 18 people on board and we'll just go around the inlets of Miami and get drunk and dance and jump off the boat into the water lol
I already got married but my girlfriend is insisting on some kind of "after the fact" bachelorette party this summer so I agreed.
@FireflyT: the surprise will most likely be wearing a thong just so you know;)
