Alright ladies… it seems like everyone on the boards tonight is mentioning that they are jetting off to some exciting and faroff place for the holidays. So let’s hear it. Where are you headed for the holidays? …or are you just staying home. FI and I are headed to North Carolina to visit my grandma and the rest of my dad’s family, and then it is home to Boston for New Years.

Home for Christmas Eve with my family, probably go and visit FMIL on Christmas Day (she lives down the road), Boxing Day Party with FH’s family and then it’s a funeral service for FFIL (ex-FFIL? How do you even say that correctly?) on New Years Eve.

We’re headed back to Nebraska. It’s so nice that both our families are in the same city! I do feel a bit bad, though, as I’m staying for 2 weeks to do a bunch of planning and he has to spend New Years back in NJ alone :/

I’ll be at the boy’s parent’s house for Christmas Eve, then I’m leaving him to visit my parents on Christmas Day. I’m sad we won’t be together for the entire holiday, but we both want to spend time with our families, so what can you do. New Years we spend at home with sushi and our kitties- and then take to the roof of our building to watch fireworks!

We’re staying “home”, which is Ottawa, Ontario, which is his home and not mine, but where we’re living right now. Wow, that was a long sentence haha. Then, on the 27th I am flying to Halifax, Nova Scotia to spend a couple of days with my family!!

Going from our home in NYC to Long Island to his mother’s home. Not a big venture but it’s nice to get out of the concrete jungle sometimes.

We are going to NOLA to visit my parents. Easter we will be with the FI’s parents in Upstate NY. First year that we won’t be able to do both parents for both holidays. FI and I moved to Richmond, and my parents moved to NOLA. Oh, well… I guess I’m getting my White Christmas today with all this snow
