She posted a comment yesterday in the thread below about babies arriving after due date. As of yesterday, nothing yet- but I think she said she was being induced Tues if it didn't happen today.

Awwww, you guys remembered 
Still here, no baby yet. I'm 4 days overdue and have done everything to try to get this baby to come! I even washed my car in the driveway yesterday...the neighbors must have thought I was nuts....still no baby but at least my car is sparkly :)
If she doesn't come on her own today (I'm not holding my breath, there's seriously no signs of labor on the horizon), we'll be starting the induction tomorrow morning at 7:30am...talk about anti-climactic! Hubby was thinking this whole thing was gonna be like the movies where we're running around trying to remember everything as we're dashing out the door. Instead I'm doing laundry and he's looking at patio furniture online - so not how we pictured it happening!
I'll keep you all posted if anything happens ;)
At least you have an end in sight! Can you imagine, you're only days (maybe even hours!) away from meeting your daughter. :) Good luck tomorrow, momma! I hope you have a smooth, easy labor and delivery!
P.S. Tell your husband it's rarely as exciting as it seems in the movies, anyway. I slept through most of my labor. True story.

Your story sounds almost just like mine...I was 8 days overdue before induced and DS was born 9 days late. I was supposed to be induced at 7 day but it got rescheduled due to an influx of laboring mothers! I was devistated to say the least. I also tried everything to jump start my labor as well and nothing worked. It was a little strange walking into the Women's and Babies Hospital to inform the receptionist that I was scheduled for induction, but in the end we had a happy healthy baby boy to show for it! Good luck again!

Thank you guys so much! I feel like I've been completely out of touch with the online world for so long now...
I was induced on Tuesday morning because baby girl apparently had intentions of staying in there as long as possible. They started the pitocen at 8:00am and by 2:30pm I was barely feeling the contractions so the doc came by and broke my water...
Holy hell, I lasted all of 30 mins in active labor with real contraction pain before asking for the epidural. 5 hours later the nurse came to check me and was amazed to find that I was complete and announced it was time to push! Talk about shocked, I was completely numb and had no idea that I had even progressed at that point...
And at 7:45pm after only 5 hours of active labor and 30 mins of pushing, and with Scott coaching and encouraging me by my side the whole way through, Summer Willow Straus was born (Summer because we both love the name, Willow because it's the street we grew up on next door to each other). So far she's been nothing short of amazing.
