I found ebay to have some great deals. Like these:

You might also want to check out Oriental Trading or Ikea. If you're looking for tealights, Ikea sells them in bags of like 50 or more for super cheap.
I got a lot from IKEA & crazy enough-I found my 3 x 3 square glass votives at the dollar tree! I would have never thought to check there and I was about to pay $3+ on each one! I'd be careful with buying online-just make sure the shipping doesn't actually ax out the cost savings-that was my trouble!
Pier1 has little clear glass votives in several shapes for $1a piece, and sometimes they go on sale. Go on Platinum Tuesdays (first Tues of each month for 10% off your purchase).
For votive holders hands down Ikea has the best prices, and they have 3 different sizes. (I did an exhaustive online search and when you factored in shipping cost an in store purchase from Ikea worked out to be the best price per piece.)
I bought my glass votives and now am searching out the best price on candles. Ikea has votive candles in the silver cups but me being super anal I want the ones in the clear cups (they are also more expensive). However, the Ikea votive/tealights burn for about 4 hours and are sold in a bulk bag of 50 at a great price.
i second cudge. they're great quality and affordable. if you live in the ny area, you can pick them up and avoid the shipping charge!
I got my votives from Joann.com with a 50% off coupon. If you go to their site, they often post different coupons each day and you can probably catch a good one.
I also got my holders from Ikea, but opted for small juice glasses instead which turned out to be 6 glasses for $2 which I thought was a great deal.
do not go to craftsnfavors on ebay or efavormart.com
i had to return mine twice and they gave me hell! it was awful! the quality was a joke. the candles were all lumpy and wobbley in the votives and their wicks were crooked out the sides! def not those related companies. somehow they are the same company but they go by a different name on ebay. they also have another branch of their company called ya ya creation? it was confusing, i never knew who i was speaking to to resolve the issues.
Try the dollar store. Sometimes they really have good finds there. You'd be surprised.
Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I'm ah-gonna get to lookin & comparing :)
Sometimes 99 cent stores have things like this. Usually a bunch for 99 cents. Check locally and see what they have.
Cudge and Ebay were about the same on prices. I went with Ebay though because theirs were more up and down, whereas the Cudge ones were tapered. That was the only difference. I bought 72 frosted votives for like...oh $35, somethign like that, and I bought 10 hour white votives from Ambria through Sam's Club for $40. Did I mention I got 288 of them?! haha.
how did people buy ikea candles online? I foolishly bought the tea lights there but now need holders and its over 2 hours away. Looking for alternatives.
www.dollartree.com they have them online and will ship free to the store so you can pick them up there
I was gifted some glass votive holders from another WB bride that are from cudge.net. They are PERFECT! Pretty much straight up and down (I'm wrapping lace around them with no problem). They taper very very very slightly, so there's no problem with the 2 I've tested out wrapping. I'm thinking of ordering another case, the deal seems so good!
I got my votive candle holders from saveoncrafts.com. None were broken, arrived very quickly and were about .49 cents a piece.
Walmart is the cheapest for the votive holders, since there are no shipping charges added and no risk of any getting broken in the mail. Votives (they must be unscented around food) are cheapest at Costco/Sam's.
I am starting to make cut and curl candles again. They make awesome unity candles and every set is personalized and no two are the same. I am making them for my wedding as gifts and a unity candle. :)
Sears has some pretty reasonably priced 10 hour votives
