It seems that since bringing my dress home a few weeks ago, everyone and their brother has opened the *never used* closet in my house that it is located in. Any suggestions of a good way to camoflouge a large dress?!?

I would put a clean white cotton sheet around it. I would also put a large sign on the closet of Do Not Open.

Can you put a lot of couats in front of it or something, and of course have it in a non seethrough bag.

I put mine in my closet with a sheet over it. My husband and I don’t share a closet.

my Fiance and i share a 1-bedroom apartment and therefore, also share a closet. I bought a gown zipper-bag off of ebay and put my dress in that, in the very back of my closet (it’s hard to get out). He probably knows it is in there, but i know he wouldn’t peek =).

I took my dress to my parent’s house after he “accidentally” forgot that he was not allowed in my closet. He didn’t see much, but it was still a close call. 🙂

Many bridal salons and alteration shops will keep it for you as long as you want! That’s what I’m doing.

I’m keeping mine at my parents’ house… Do you have a relative who will keep it safe for you?

My best friend offered her house, but I think that her clothes always smell…and I’m worried my wedding dress will pick up the scent. I’ll check with the seamstress I plan to use!
