So my Fiance and I are having a traditional wedding, and honoring our culture so it’s Mexican themed. I’m having my dress custom made by JBS and it has embroidery all over the bodice, I knew he wanted to wear a Charro suit (commonly known as “Mariachi” outfit) so I thought my dress would compliment his suit and vice versa… however I’m having such a hard time finding ’em online to purchase. I know most of these suits are custom made… so that might be why I can’t find ready to wear ones, but does anyone know where to find ’em? I was hoping to find another JBS similar site for menswear… are their any bees from Mexico that might be able to help me? I’m from Guanajuato, Mexico orignially and while that state is famous for it’s western footwear it doesn’t offer much in the Charreria department… any help is greatly appreciated.
Photo below is from a “Que Bonito Amor” telenovela (soap opera) this is the exact same outfit my Fiance has in mind.

My Go-To place to find ANYTHING is Ebay! I found this one. Not the one you posted but a spectacular men’s wedding charro suit. It can be tailored to his size if the budget is workable.
No, this is not my listing! I just have experience in this area. =)

Susana888: I bought my traje from Mariachi Connection. Here’s a link to one of theirs that’s similar to what you’re looking for. You can even select the options of what kind of greca you want, what color, etc. Where are you from? They have a store in San Antonio if you’re nearby. If not, just get him measured locally and input the measurements as needed. Follow their guidelines for measuring, though. It’s not the same as a traditional suit. I’ve had my traje for 3-4 years now and it’s still in great condition. The fit is great. I highly recommend them.
As a side note, just be aware that trajes are made from a poly-wool blend. For a june wedding, it will be hot, they don’t breathe very well. Are you getting married indoors or outdoors? If outdoors, going with a modified version may be ideal.

HonoraryNerd: julies1949: Thank you both, I’m checking them out right now. 😀 I’ve been meaning to update the date on my wedding. It’s actually going to be in Sept so it tends to be around 74ish in Central California. Good tip though ’cause I hadn’t thought of it. xd
