I am looking for Watters 9052b, but it retails for over $1300 which is over my budget.  I would love to find it used, but I'm having a hard time finding it.  There is a size 10 for 1000 on bravobride, but i'd have to get lots of alterations and that is still more than I want to pay.

    I've looked at

    Ebay

Craigslist (every city where I know somone)

    Preownedweddingdresses.com

    bravobride.com

    oncewed.com

    weddingbee classifieds

What am I missing? Where else should I look?

Is there a brick and morter bridal shop that sells pre-worn dresses near you that might carry it?

Also- have you tried Googling for your dress and for sale?  You might find it randomly- used or new for cheap.

Have you tried contacting Netbride.com (or RK Bridal or Pearls Place)?  They don't sell pre-owned dresses but they are able to sell new gowns at discounted prices.  I know Netbride carries Watters because we ordered our bridesmaids dressed from them.  It might be worth checking them out (and they will match or beat prices (by 5%) if you end up getting a quote from another online retailer).

Good luck!  Watters has some amazing dresses!

I have one for sale cheap but you won't like it because its outdated LOL

I would google it like someone else said - there are many bridal shops that have dresses on consignment. You could also consider renting one if you aren't set on keeping it. I looking into it and you can get a beautiful, current style wedding gown for half of the retail price or less when you are renting it.

You could also look on theknot.com (under the dress section)...I know that ladies are always selling gowns there. What about weddingbycolor under "market place" as well. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!
