@FutureMrsHarris2014:  tbh I got a gorgeous one right off of here! You can also try preownedweddingdresses.com and etsy.com

Go to http://www.gloryshouse.com and find an applique you like. You can have your seamstress sew it onto an ivory sash at a fraction of the cost to buy one from a store or Etsy.

I’m buying a plain sash and attaching an antique brooch to the front of it. Saves a ton of money.

@FutureMrsHarris2014:  I took the Glory’s House advice and was able to get the same items I saw on an Etsy sash design at a fraction of the cost.  The sash I loved on Etsy was $325, and the materials I needed to make it were less than $100.  I ended up with two sashes for $130! I bought the center crystal appliqués  for my sashes at http://gloryshouse.com, and I bought a few satin and organza ribbons and some crystal trim http://www.mjtrim.com. I am going to have my seamstress put the final touches on them, but much to my surprise I have been able to put the sashes together very well by myself.  This is the only thing  I am doing myself for my  wedding so far, and it has been fun. I love that my sashes are a customized design!

Isn’t it great?! I couldn’t believe how much Etsy sellers were upcharging for the same exact appliques. I thank the Bee that told me about that website everyday!

I just ordered one from Etsy this week. I looked on preownedweddingdresses.com and found one I liked but then I found the same one on Etsy for the same price!  I ordered from Etsy so that I could customize it.  I wanted the beading to go all the way around my waist instead of just in front.  I was able to add the extra beading.  The total cost was $70 incl shipping.

I wish I had found this thread earlier. Gloryhouse seems like an even better deal.

@FutureMrsHarris2014:  Ohhh the mia!! I tried on that dress and it was a close runner up but went with a different dress in the end!

I suggest ETSY….you can find amazing sashes there for less than 100!
