got my boy's vests and ties through eBay!
the quality was really nice, and you cant beat the price! just look for an actual ebay store that sells the same item in different sizes, not one seller selling one item!
I would try a tuxedo rental shop. They typically sell new and used items and may even order a specific style for you.
Try Jos A Bank. They have one in Cranston.
Also Men's Warehouse has a ton of Tux shops. There's one in the Providence Mall and another one in Cranston as well.
I second Jos. A. Bank. Very high quality and they will even monogram the sleeves of the shirt. Plus they sometimes go on sale so if you are patient you can get a decent price.
Also, you could try a tailor. They can usually order things like that for you or some that do a lot of formal wear will have them.
Or...

Do you want nicer than these? Like Zegna?
Since you are having a Newport wedding, maybe Vineyard Vines would suit your style. I know it is not for everyone but they make nice ties and tell the bow/cumberbund set in a variety of colors/prints. They even make a Newport Bridge neck tie which is avaliable in their Newport shop (or at least it was a couple of years ago, I haven't been recently). The best selection is on their website
Good luck!
Also, my mom randomly found tuxedo shirts at Marshalls once and they were nice and really cheap, she bought one for my brother as a "just in case" but I don't know how often they have this sort of thing.
Thank you all so much! I am actually getting married in providence so vineyard vines wouldn't work, but thank you very much for that suggestion!
and how could i not have even though of jos a bank? i work 5 minutes from garden city! you all rock!
please keep the ideas coming in case i can't find whati am looking for!
I bought my FI's shirt at a Brooks Brothers outlet store and he was very happy with it. I think they sell bowties as well, though the selection might not be that big (especially at an outlet store). Good luck!

Hi all
I am having a LOT of difficulty finding super nice bowtie/cummerbund sets and tuxedo shirts to buy. any ideas on where I could look?
I started with neiman marcus, saks, barneys, nordstrom and bloomingdales. i went on to macy's, marshalls, syms, and tj maxx. Nothing I liked in either (actually the higher end stores simply didn't have anything). Apart from asking my Italian relatives to bring me something when they come in July, where can I look????
Store names, websites? I am looking for classic tuxedo shirt and classic bowtie/cummerbund sets for my groom and our dads.
Any help is great appreciated!!!
Best,
Rhodeygirl
