I am DIYing our centerpieces for our enchanted tree themed tables: moss, some kind of vase or planter with branches sticking out. the set up is the same for each table but each tree has different things growing in it or set around it that represent the specific tree. For example there’s the lime tree in memory of my FI’s brother who passed (the tree still grows the most amazing limes), redwoods (FI love of muir woods), driftwood (my love of the ocean) and so on.
i’m thinking some people just snip snip from their backyard but I live in LA and palm trees are not helping me here! I also need pieces of bark to glue onto the frames that will explain the "origin" of the tree.
any tree/branch brides out there?

I had trouble finding stuff like this, too, it was all real expensive. Try the save on crafts website. I ended up skipping it all b/c it was so much of a headache.
I love the idea of limes and trees, though.

I don’t know of many websites but I can tell you like ejs4y8, that save-on-crafts.com definitely may sell what you are looking for.

Michael’s always is having sales on stuff like that if you want to see what your getting in person. Or http://www.save-on-crafts.com is great too!!
I would shop at http://www.dollartree.com for the vases. They have all different ones for $1 each.
http://www.crafta.com may also have some stuff you need.

Another option is http://www.nettletonhollow.com/ – they also have great inspiration stuff on their blog.

We got some branchy looking things at Crate and Barrel outlet, so maybe check places like that or Pottery Barn on sale they might have what you’re looking for!

I bought my branches at Pier One. They were very reasonably priced – especially with my sister’s interior designer discount! Good luck!

I got a great deal on manzanita branches at bloomsandbranches.com. If you aren’t in a rush, just keep an eye out for their sales.

thank you all!
it looks like bloomsandbranches.com is the most reasonable online but I have a Pier One just a few blocks away from my house. I love all of the craft sites, and netteltonhollow.com is amazing !!
I did a bunch of searches last night – if anyone is looking for birch vases or bowls, I found some really cool ones at http://moose-r-us.com/Item/newarrivals/bbreverse3vases.html looks like an iffy site but it’s actually really cool.
I can’t wait to look at these sites a little more 🙂
