I’m making a brooch bouquet too and was unable to find a lot of brooches in my area, find necklace pendants, earrings, rings or whatever and hot glue or super glue pin backs on to them. Instant brooches! Laughing

I’d try thrift shops, consignment stores, Ebay and Craigslist. I bet auctions would be great too for costume and estate jewelry πŸ™‚ I know there’s one in Brampton every week, and one up near Uxbridge on Wednesday nights I believe. I’m sure there are tons though!

ETA – Chinatown!!! I bet you could find tons there!

Ebay and antique stores were too expensive for me, and thrift stores didn’t have what I was looking for.  We only had a 4 mth engagement, so I didn’t have a year or so to keep my eye out…

Another Bee recommended this site, and I was very pleased with the prices, and the selection!

I am also doing these DIY.  I scored most of them on ebay for less that $5.  I have about 30 done now, 30 more to go!
