I found really good fake flowers at Hobby Lobby. I ordered all of my real flowers from Sam's Club online.
I was considering doing silks as well - but then I happened into Whole Foods Market and they have a lovely flower department and they said they can make the arrangements - bouquets, boutinnieres and corsages for me for just the cost of the flowers! So I think my flowers will be around $70 or 80 total - I'm doing gerber daisies and roses!
so there's an idea!
I did my floral price research and compared prices at different site. Depending on what flowers you are wanting I'm planning to order my flowers from Bunchesdirect.com. Sam's Online also had a good deal as well.
Fiftyflowers.com is a popular one here on the boards... I've heard nothing but good things!
If you have a local supermarket that has a floral dept. stop in there and tell them what you are looking for. I live in NYC and went into one of the higher end stores to ask...low and behold their prices beat anything on the web since you are tagging onto their bulk order. We looked at their inventory and they were more than willing to help us out. They need about three weeks lead time. Flower people are always super nice!
I really think you can't beat Costco's party flower deals. It is like $249 to outfit an entire small wedding. They have lots of choices and even fair trade roses. You can buy extra matching pieces or even a bigger pack. Very pretty and cost effective. I promise I don't work there or anything, but I do my friend's flowers as a present and Costco is by far my favorite place for garden bunches and I have seen their prepared flowers. They are nice.
I bought mine from bunchesdirect.com They were really helpful and a lot cheaper when I compared them to other places, even with coupons. I'm a big fresh flowers girl, I can't stand silks and imitations, so I guess I'm a bit biased. But go with fresh flowers, it's so much nicer!

I've been looking at a few places and flowers are so expensive!! I am looking for either real flowers or the silk ones that look/feel real. Does anyone know any places (online or near buffalo, ny) that has quality flowers at a good price?
