wedding night will be the first for me too. my best friend took me to victoria's secret cause she said i needed something completely frivolous and she knew i wouldn't buy it for myself. :) honestly, i wasn't that impressed... although part of my problem was i didn't fit their bras very well. but i know plenty of people who love VS as well, so who knows...
i've heard good things about figleaves.com, but have never personally ordered anything from there. looks like they have a lot of options.
I would get anything by Claire Pettibone. She also makes wedding gowns too but her lingerie is so pretty and romantic. She has a store in LA but you can buy her designs on line too.
Wedding night will be my first time too... So I'm trying to find something cute/romantic. I love some things at VS. I actually have a nightgown of sorts from there, and it is so comfortable! So, I'm sure their lingerie is wonderful, too. Fredrick's of Hollywood is seemingly good as well. (http://www.fredericks.com/) And intimate secrets (http://intimate-secrets.co.uk/).
Hope that helps!
One comment about VS: their online selection is much bigger than what you'll find in most stores. Some department stores have good selections of lingerie - I've surprisingly had good luck at Dilliard's.
I am saving my pennies to buy something from agent provocateur. A little pricy but you have to work harder when it's *not* the first time
(only kidding ;)
Nice, missrae. ;) heheh
I'd Looove to get something from agent provocateur, too. But as a n00b to the whole lingerie thing, I'm trying to just build up my wardrobe. Hehe.
Betsy Johnson makes a line of lingerie that fits well, flatters the figure, and is cute and modern. There is even a wedding thong in the set, which is really cute! They have it at Nordstrom: http://shop.nordstrom.com/C/6014472/0~2376780~6009391~6014467~6014472?origin=leftnav
I have to agree with chrissie about the online selection at VS. It is very extensive and they even have a bridal section of their website. My online complaint about them is that they don't carry anything above a DD cup, so I can't wear any of their stuff anymore. :(
Agent Provacateur, and La Perla are my favorite brands, I buy from a shop called IC London.

I'm having problems figuring out where to buy lingerie... Our wedding night will be our first time, so I'm pretty clueless when it comes to knowing what's good. I've looked at Victoria Secret, and have been browsing other websites as well, but I'm not sure what's reliable or decent quality for the price.
What's your favorite place to buy lingerie? Who's got the best quality?
