Where can I get the best deal on rose petals? Also, will freeze dried be cheaper?
I want to get enough rose petals to lightly line the edges of the sidewalk about the ceremony site... I am horrible with distance, but I am guessing it's about 25-30 feet long. How many rose petals do I need?
I got mine at flyboynaturals.com. They were having a sale when I got them, not sure if it's still going on, but they were by far the cheapest I'd seen for freeze dried petals. :)
there is this store where I am thinking of getting my freeze dried petals from called www.simplyrosepetals.com. They ship from Australia and quote in Australian dollars. I haven't actually liaised with the people yet because I am still in two minds about whether to order but you might wanna check it out.
If budget is a concern you may want to check out ebay for satin petals (ie fake)- these are really really cheap. I have come across auctions starting from $0.01 for a whole bag of petals!
freeze dried ones don't stain carpets (supposedly), you can dictate the colours which you want (given that the colours are already "faded") and can sometimes be cheaper. there are some venues which are super sticky with fresh petals because they claim it will stain their carpets and furnitures

I had a question about freeze dried vs. fresh... what's the advantage of either one?
