Weddingbee boards

Ok. I have a thing about buying shoes without being able to try them on first so I need to get something local but have no idea where to look other than the regular Payless which has very little for wedding type shoes or the bridal shops which are SO overpriced. So .. Whee do you buy shoes in Calgary & area? (I also want 2 pairs .. Heels for ceremony.. Flats/slippers for dancing).

I just got my dress in and should get some shoes before scheduling alterations!!

I was going to suggest Aldo - that's where I get a lot of my favorite shoes. I'm sure they have one in Calgary.

Aldo did have lots of cute shoes, but 99% of them are stilettos. I wanted something with a larger heel since I tend to trip over my own feet as is.

Holt Renfrew would be way out of my budget (I did go drool over some Arnold Churgon shoes .. And yeah, I know I misspelled that!)

Fair enough, they are often quite stilletto-ish, but sometimes they have cute ballet flats and stuff that might work for your flat shoes? Also, closer to summer they almost always bring out some cute strappy sandals/flipflops with bling on them etc.

I purchased my shoes at the shoe warehouse here in Edmonton and I am sure they have them in Calgary as well.  Resonably priced at $50 - I really like them.  I am still looking for the perfect flats to keep me dancing through the night tho.

I was in Aldo today and they have a lot of flats out right now. 

I recenlty bought a pair of heels from the Bay - Nine West brand for $18!!!! Such a great deal regular price $120 - so you could always check there as well as Sears.
