Where to elope now

It’s your wedding so it should be how you want it be.

I can’t blame your parents for being upset at the decisions you’ve made, because it’s not how they raised you and not how they were hoping things would go. I also cannot blame them for wanting the wedding they were paying for to go a certain way. All of that makes sense. Their behavior has not been the nicest, though, that’s for sure. It’s a shame you were dealing with that, but, considering the circumstances, them paying for the wedding was just not a good idea. Trouble was bound to happen.

It’s a good thing you and your fiancée have decided to go this route. It will allow your lives to start out on the right foot and in a way that is in line with both of your beliefs.

Anyway, what area are you looking to get married in, or is any state/location an option?

charismacharm:  Oh, I see. Well that’s just absurd. This isn’t the first time I’ve heard of this happening, unfortunately. Thank God for elopements and private ceremonies.

Florida has some great beach wedding packages. I look at weddings that happen on Cocoa Beach pretty regularly, so you may want to look at that area. There are some great companies that do weddings in Key West as well, so you might want to check that area out too.

charismacharm:  If you want to see what a Key West wedding could look like, Weddingstogokeywest.com has a gallery full of weddings. It’s great for getting ideas. Most of the weddings are small, and many of them have just the bride and the groom.

There are lots of other wedding companies that operate there, of course, but I look at that one the most.
