@Future Couture: Have you tried Michaels or Joann's Fabrics? They both usually have an extensive scrapbook selection!
When I made my guest book I couldn't find any scrapbooks that didn't come with page protectors. I just took out the page protectors and measured the distance between the prongs in the book. Then I used a hole punch on scrapbook paper that had an extra edge on it and put them in the book. I think a lot of paper that you buy in bound collections of paper will have that extra edge.
I didn't search completely, but most of the ones I found had built in pocket protectors. And i don't want to have to have loose pages floating around. I will have to keep looking there though
@Future Couture: No prob. Let me know if you want a pic of what I did. I can take a photo of it and post it tomorrow if you want.
try the pioneer or the reflections brand, 12 x 12, they come with either black or white cardstock inserts... you can put the paper out, and have them insert it themselves. If you use the white inserts, you can have a variety of colors for them to sign...
if you have the black ones, the silver sharpie is the best for them to use (I am a total scrapbooker, that is how I know) LOL
Also, check with your photobooth company they may have an option where they do this for you.
for them to DIY all you need is a 12x12 album (pioneer or reflections with the color you want), pens, and adhesive I recommend a dot glue runner...
have them adhere their photo strip to the 12 x 12 paper, write something next to it (i think you could fit 4 strips per page)... they usually come with 24 pages (front and back)... anyhow so you get 4 per page... you can quarter them off. they use the adhesive to put their photo strip on the page, then sign next to it:)
WILL BE PERFECT!!!! please feel free to message me if you have any questions regarding scrapbooking, I will do my best to help you figure this out:)

I've purchased books like that at Michael's in the past, but when I went to look for one to use for our photobooth scrapbook, they didn't have any. I decided instead to just buy paper for the scrapbook and have people make individual pages, then I'll put them in page protectors later, in whatever order I want. I also figured this might help the flow of traffic, too, because if there's just the one book, it could slow people down, but if they can be working on their own pages (to whatever extent they would like), then people can move at whatever pace they want.
If what you're going for is the specific look, though, this obviously won't work.
@Ronneykay: Hah I wish this thread existed when I made my guest book. That would have saved me some time and aggrivation. The hole punching wasn't so bad, but I made envelope liners for my guest book too and after that I just wanted to be done with it!
Thanks for all the ideas :) Good to know I have some options. I found these "kolo" albums that look pretty decent. I am just not sure how they are with putting pictures onto them. Would i need glue, double sided tape, photo corners, ect. Anyone have any experience with these albums?
@FloretteLiz: These albums exist with paper in them already....
or I like your idea... have them put their photos with their well-wishes in an envelope and then put them in a scrapbook later. You do not need to poke holes or anything. They are already in page protectors. Go to the scrapbook section, and you can use 40% off coupons too! woot! even better:)
You can buy whatever paper you want though, the 12 x 12 pages fit into these albums, just take out the page from the top (go browse, you will see what I am talking about, how easy it is to interchange them out) and then put in whatever page you want:)
you can do this:) its definitely possible!:)

You could use any of those three. It would just depend on your preference. If the card stock is thin I would not reccomend using scrapbooking glue unless you make sure you go lightly. Photo corners would allow you to switch around photos at your leisure and dobule sided tape does not last the longest (in my experience anyway).
@Jess1483: I kinda like this idea as well. It makes sense since people won't have to wait to get to the actual book! I just got a 40% michael's coupon today :) making a trip soon! Probably will go that route. I might even pre make a few pages with some decorations on them of wedding stuff or wathever so they have room to add what they want to say and add the pictures. That way i have the scrapbook part made, they add pics and comments, and just have to insert them into the page protectors
@Ronneykay: I misread your comment. I thought you had found a scrapbook where you could pull the paper out and use it without the protectors. Sorry it is getting a little late for me. For my book I had to completely go without the protectors because I have envelopes that people will be inserting cards with their well wishes and advice into.
@FloretteLiz: Awesome. thank you :) we are actually doing a photo bench, not booth. so instead of strips its a 4 X 6 photo, with either 2 or 4 pictures on it. we havent completed decided yet! but, that way they can chose which pictures to keep, to take more, or keep their favorites. so i will have to test out some stuff to see what works best.
@FloretteLiz:OHH gotcha :) i will figure something out. i didn't even think to have the pages loose. but it completely makes sense so people are not waiting to get to the book thats already all together
@Future Couture: Oooh that sounds really cool. I hope you post some photos of all of this in recaps once your wedding gets here.

@FloretteLiz: Absolutely will :) I am starting to work on my DIY stuff since i got a lot of stuff booked so my research is coming to a stand still for a lil bit :) So thought I would get a head start on this, my card box, flip flop basket, and need to address those darn save the dates
to the PP, yea you pull the paper out of the page protectors (pockets) they are not attached.
But I like the idea of just having 12x12 pages there, and having an assortement of embellishments there for them to use anyhow they choose, just make sure they have a place to write on for your well wishes. I should take a photo of what I am talking about.
Scour your local michaels scrapbook section. You can make it a station I guess...
leave out paper, glue dot runners, embellishments, etc... they can decorate their page, 1/2 page, 1/4 page... whatever you want to give them however they want, but most of all, what is important, it will be totally unique to them... and you will be happy when you look at it:)
I hope it all works out, like i said, feel free to message me if you have any scrapbooking questions, I may be able to help you. If not, I'm sorry. Maybe I am not understanding througholy. It seems others know more of what you are talking about than I do :/
I'm sorry... I only know that I like to scrapbook, and I have given this serious thought for my vision...
Thats all...

We used a Kolo book, and bought 4x6 self-adhesive plastic sleeves which we stuck to each page for people to slide their pictures into. We left the book by the booth with a container of pens, it turned out great!
i think that is what i have narrowed it down to. either one of those kolo books cuz they look great! or having seperate pages to cut down on a line to get to it
any 12 x 12 paper will work, then when they are done, you can just slide it into the page protectors. So really you can use whatever color you want:)

We are going to be having a photo booth at our wedding. I want to make a guestbook out of the double prints that guests get from their time in the booth. Does anyone know where I can find or buy a scrapbook or guest book or album that has all blank pages, and no plastic page protectors?
