I love torrid.  They’re pretty trendy and I always get complements when I wear one of their dresses. Also, forever 21 carries a plus size line that has more reasonable prices. Good luck!

Debshops.com or go into the store. I went crazy when a deb near me was going out of business and bought every white dress they had because I have fashionADD and had to have a white dress for my high school graduation so my plan is to hold on to them for rehersal and shower even though I will probably have to take them in a little so they will fit since I have lost a little weight since high school.

Mine came from Nordstrom, but I also have great luck dress shopping at discount places like Marshalls and Burlington Coat Factory (dunno if they have those where you are). Dress Barn is another good option.

I bought mine on ModCloth.com. They happened to have one of their employees wearing the dress in a pic at the time I bought it and it showed her measurements which were almost the same as mine. I even chatted with live help and they found the employee and asked her which size she was in so I could gauge which one to wear. I was nervous being a plus size lady and ordering online but it fits like a dream. I went with teal which is one of our wedding colors.

@loving_life:  I like Modcloth and http://www.pinupgirlclothing.com Now PUG has reviews for each dress like Modcloth. Also, I don’t know where in California you are, but they have a physical store in your state.

@futuremrskmk:  Love modcloth. I think a lot of companies could learn a thing or two from their customer service.

@candykristina:  Me too! I was very pleasantly surprised. I had never purchased anything from them prior to this because usually when I see something I want I go there and it’s sold out!
