Hi bees 🙂
Okay so I am getting married in June, but since my wedding is like 2 months away, I figured now was the time to start stocking up on my lingerie collection! I have gathered some cute things from Fredericks and places like TJ Maxx, and am hoping to get some things from Vctoria’s secret (so stinking expensive!) and I’ve been looking for something to wear on the first night, but I am having a really hard time! See, I have a few specifics for them..
First of all, my fiance has requested that the boob-coverage area NOT be see-through.. I know, shocking haha but we are virgins and have saved ourselves (very difficult haha) for each other, and I guess he wants to be able to “unwrap me” rather than I walk out and it’s like BAM there I am all at once. I totally get that 🙂 BUT that makes it stinking hard to find something still sexy! I want to wow him, so I dont want to just wear a solid white satin nightie..
I also don’t want anything too complicated.. We are going to be quite excited, so I don’t think I want something like a corset with garter belt with a bajillion other things. Maybe like a babydoll style dress? Or I could even do one of those tighter sheer dress things (I don’t know what they are called, but they have the garter straps at the bottom sometimes..) I don’t need to wear thigh highs, since I have those to knock his socks off for night 2, when we are actually on our honeymoon (staying the night at a fancy hotel for our first night, and flying out the next afternoon)..
I don’t know haha I just haven’t been able to find anything and was wondering if anyone had any ideas? Thank you so much for your help!! And sorry this is charged with so much nervous energy haha

I know this sounds like an odd choice but Burlington Coat Factory has a lingerie section and their selection is quite good.
I would also check out this place below. I’ve ordered some of my stuff from them and its not super great quality materials but for the price I thought it was pretty affordable…considering it’ll end up on the floor anyway lol

date twins! i’d definitely check vicki’s clearance, they can have some awesome stuff!

Nordstrom has some very elegant options. I find VS and Fredericks can have some… Interesting.. Items, while Nordstom is a little classier.

Target currently has some bridal-lingerie in stock. I totally bought myself some apres-wedding lingerie one day last week.

I LOVE soma.com. Their stuff is pricey, but they have a great clearance section too. Some of it is regular pajamas, but they have sexier sets, too.

Fredricks is great, or Cato, and Bealls. Sometimes JcPenny has stuff and surprisingly, Wa lmart has some cheap and cute stuff, like matching bra and panties or nightie sets.

Look for something simple, elegant and easy … like a classic satin chemise with (or without) panties, plus a robe (more to unwrap… undo the ties / belt of the robe)
Here are a few examples…
I agree save the more complicated elements… garters, stockings, high-heels, the bows, the corsets, etc for later on in your Honeymoon / Relationship.
Play up the “clean classic innocent” look for all you can (it will be the one he’ll remember for ever and works just as well on a woman at 20 as it does at 80. BONUS !!)
And trust me a chemise is easy in and out of… it looks good on, but comes off easy too. Next morning you can just throw on the robe (sans everything else) for strutting around the Honeymoon Suite, getting coffee etc.
Hope this helps,

This may sound like a strange place for it, but look online at Dillard’s. They have a bridal lingerie shop with some really beautiful lingerie for the first night!

I just bought my best friend an adorable set from Kohls as part of her bridal shower present. I got her a beautiful (and tasteful) nighty AND a robe and spent $25 total! (I had a 20% off coupon and both pieces were on clearance:) I had a hard time selecting because there were about 6 others I really liked.
