The container store sells nice cotton garment bags that are only like $20. If your dress is very poufy they also have larger bags meant to hold more than one item that would work for a large dress.
Oh, my dress has beaded lace bodice and a tulle skirt. It's not HUGE but not streamlined either. I'm not worried about wrinkles, I'm planning on having it steamed once we arrive.

Hey Bees,
We're having a destination wedding and I'm nervous about traveling with my dress. I already got the ok from our airline (Swiss) to bring my dress on board as a carry on but I need to find along and inexpensive (no more than $50) garment bag that's fairly sturdy. My bag from the bridal shop will not work as there is a tear in it already.
Any recommendations?
