    Hi girls,

My friend is trying to find ice blue or something similar colored bridesmaid dresses for her three bridesmaids but is having a lot of trouble since they are C, D and DD cup sizes.  The Davids Bridal ones don't seem to work very well for a DD cup since there is just not enough material up top on most of the dresses.  And she doesn't want to spend a fortune getting a bigger size and altering it down in every which way.  Any suggestions?

I just chose the dress for my 'maids, and I think it is flattering to all body types.  I am a D-cup, and I tried it on and felt covered and attractive.  Two of my bridesmaids have larger chests and I think this will look great on them.  It is Alfred Sung style 328.... it is not with all of their styles on their website, but it is listed under their "new 2007 styles" here:

It is shown in a very pretty ice blue color -- I tried it on in this color, and it was very nice!!!  Don't be fooled by the halter style, either -- it is not so much a "trendy" halter as it is a more vintage-looking halter, which also means better construction, more coverage, and better support.

    Good luck!

    I know, I love it!!!!!!

I found the dress at two different bridal shops -- it was $195 at one, and $198 at the other (both shops are in Philadelphia suburbs).  Both places offered discounts (one a 15% discount because I got my dress there; the other a 30% discount if we place the order in December) so we're going with the second shop and getting the dresses for $139   Quite a deal!!!  I think you can also get it on Netbride, but I preferred to go through a local shop.

Aside from the ice blue, it comes in several other nice colors (we're going with teal).  The material is a really nice blend that isn't as slinky as chiffon but not as stiff as satin.  And the skirt is a double layer so it feels more substantial and doesn't show as much of the stuff some of us would rather keep hidden

Thanks girls!  I'll definitely try to call around and see if I can find a shop where my friend can go and look at it.  :)
