doyle and doyle is a good bet, and also there's a place on the UWS called Roslyn (corner of 73rd and Columbus) that has some really beautiful vintage jewelry, including some gorgeous e-rings.
My fiance and I are getting a custom setting made at David S Diamonds on 5th Avenue. While we felt comfortable going with them because they were very professional with a very legitimate business, I have to say that customer service has not been one of the best.
I would suggest http://www.newyorkestatejewelry.com/ . I live in Ca and my fiance ordered my antique ring off of their website. However, they apparently have a store in NY as well. I'd check it out.
you can try Dale Fournier, but you have to call for an appointment. Her website is dalefournier.com
Mine is from Doyle & Doyle and I was like a kid in a candy store looking at the selection.
There's also Leigh Jay Nacht, but I've never been to the store. I've just always enjoyed stalking their website:

ETA: Wow, I just noticed how old this thread is. Whoops.

Hi All! I'm brand new to the boards, mainly b/c I'm not yet a bride to "bee". My future fiance & I are currently looking at e-rings and I'm especially interested in vintage 1920's styles. I've found a couple of great vintage e-rings in the Diamond District so far. Do you have any suggestions of where else we should look?
Thanks so much!
