My partner and I are planning our wedding for next October, and we are having a terribly difficult time finding something for her to wear. She doesn’t want to wear a dress, but she doesn’t want to wear anything that seems overly “groom”-like or masculine, either. She was trying to find a form fitting slim and sexy white blazer, pants, and vest – but we can’t find anything in a store or anywhere to custom-make anything other than to tailor a men’s suit, all of which make her seem boxey and masculine – definitely not what she is going for. She wants to feel equally bridal and beautiful as a bride wearing a beautiful gown, but in pants!
We live in New England, but aren’t too far from Boston, so any resources of places we could drive to would be fantastic, or any suggestions of places we might look online would be useful too!

J crew makes bridal rompers which look like they could be scary or amazing.

Personally I like this one. But for places to try things on at I’d try White House Black Market and Macy’s.

Rebecca Schoneveld makes a really beautiful high waitsed white slack and jacket that’s not masculine at all. It’s in her 2015 collection lookbook!

My wife’s suit was made by http://denverdressmakers.com. The same company also designed Ms. Seahorse’s suit.
Here’s the pants and vest. There was also a jacket. We really liked working with them.

Saw this on the A Practical Wedding IG recently; pretty sure it’s the J. Crew romper/pantsuit.
Also, the pic that llussier posted is from a styled shoot that was on 100 Layer Cake not too long ago. The bridal suit attire is also listed as being from J. Crew.

Alfred Angelo does some more “feminine” styled wedding pant suits. Here are a few. http://www.weddingshoppeinc.com/cr/Bridal-Gowns/3185?Narrow0=Pant+Suit_Style_65740_000000016_3

David’s bridal has this pantsuit:
I might also look into mother of the bride pant suits that come in ivory.

We are going with Denver dressmakers. You can find them under the name Vigilantelabs on etsy. Lots more pictures in their etsy shop. They have ton of great vests. We emailed back and forth with them, and they were willing to take the front and collar of one vest and change the back to a different style. (My partner would not be caught dead in a corest back vest!) They also sent us drawings of the style changes, and more slack options. They will do 3 piece suits as well i think. Really great to work with!
I felt good about working with them. I got my fabulous pretty dress and she got something made just for her to make her feel special. That was important!

intothevertigo: Did your fiancée ever find something she liked? Because I just saw a different view of the pantsuit that llussier posted and I think it’s gorgeous!
