My son was born in September (surprise! he was due late October) and now, rather than get an opal I already own reset, I’m looking at sapphires, sapphire rings to be precise. But I don’t want to spend a ton so it doesn’t have to be the real thing. Any recommendations? I love berricle, but nothing there spoke to me. I saw a moisy site that has colored stones, but it looked like they sold only the loose stones, not completed rings. Any recommendations?

Have you looked at Emitations.com? I got my “stand-in” ring there and it’s nice quality (for the price).
There’s of course Etsy, but that can get more expensive.

If you are talking about moissanite and co they will put any of their simulated gems into any of their rings. Customer service told me to just email them for pricing. I’m looking at getting an emerald from there. Depending on the ring and gem size is about 500 to 1000.
If you’re looking for something cheaper try etsy.

they are really not that expensive. my birth stone and my first sons is sapphire. i have a total of 4 sapphire rings and none of them cost all that much. my first 2 maybe a hundred+ my 3rd 250 and my mothers ring which is blue sapphire a big white sapphire and a ruby came to be about $700 which still isnt that expensive
