Hi, we would like to get married on the beach somewhere on the Maya Rivera and we are looking for affordable options for venues. We don't want to be in Cancun but would be open to anyplace south of Cancun and North of sian ka'an (playa, akumal, tulum, all ok)

We are estimating a wedding of around 100 people (including children). Does anyone have reccomendations?

Im getting married in the Riviera Maya. You should check tripadvisor for hotel reviews and then go directly to hotel websites for info regarding weddings (cost and what is included). There are so many options.

I am a Mayan Riviera bride!!! I will be getting married at the Gran Bahia Principe Coba in Oct 2012. This resort is amazing!!!!!!!!! i just got back from my site visit and had a blast (also creeped on a few beach weddings while I was there lol) We have 50 Guests right now. The package for each guest worked out to be $1350 taxes in for 8 days 7 nights out of Vancouver BC. My FI and I are free since every 10 people the 11th is free. Our wedding package will be costing us $2500 and that includes .....

1. wedding by the beach

2. dinner at one of the al a cart restuarnts

3. a pool side drinks and dancing for 2 hours with a DJ

I am sooooo excited to go back to this resort!!!

I'm getting married at the Barcelo Maya Palace in may 2013. We got engaged there last June, it's stunning, affordable, kid friendly but still classy. A friend of ours got married there a year ago and said they were amazing!

If you google "unofficial Barcelo maya" you'll find a forum about the resort. Tons of info/reviews and pics from past brides :)
