We did both our Christmas cards and our Wedding thank yous at Zazzle. We love the quality.
Costco, if you belong, does photo cards for very cheap. They are a generous size and good quality. You can design them online at home and then pick them up at the store. I think I paid $15 for fifty cards with envelopes.
I just got my photo cards from shutterfly. I paid $46 for 75 cards and envelopes. I am SO happy with how they turned out.
I have used the Fuji seehere.com website for photo cards and the quality was good. I have also used snapfish.com and also had good luck.
MagnetStreet.com has some cute ideas for X-mas photo cards. We ordered our Save the Date's from there.
If you have a mac with iphoto '11, you can make and order cards directly in iphoto. Letterpress, folded, or flat and they're pretty reasonably priced too.
We ordered ours from Shutterfly on the cardstock instead of the photocards and we love them.
If you have a mac....iPhoto is awesome with cards!!! that is how we are doing our save the dates!
We did ours on WalMart.com - and did 1hr photo, they were $0.44 each on 1hr, cheaper if you had them mailed or delivered to store over a few days.
I've used vistaprint, shutterfly, and zazzle in the past and have always received a great product

We used Tiny Prints! I LOVE their designs. Cards should arrive Monday and I can't wait to send them out!
@texasmeredith: We used tiny prints too! They always have discount codes available and our cards arrived in several days. And the paper was so thick! Gotta love good quality paper.
Thanks everybody for the great suggestions! I am still trying to decide where to order.
@MsTerrapin:How did you get them so cheap?!?!? I just went onto shutterfly and for 70 it will cost me $100! I wouldnt mind except my husband's family all live in Ireland and we have to pay over $1.00 each to send them.
Here's the pic we are using!
@MsTerrapin: did you get glossy or matte finish from Shutterfly? We got matte finish (our card is just one large picture) and I'm not super happy with how it came out. The matte finish almost makes it look grainy.
@kilkeabride: Shutterfly is always running great sales! Sign up and see what they send you in your email!
I didn't use a website and my cards were on the more expensive side (I got carried away!!), but I thought I'd suggest it because it's a nice way to give guests an actual photo they can remove from the card and keep.
I went to Papyrus and bought photomount holiday cards, took the 4X6 professional printed photo and brought it to Fedexkinkos to make copies. I then inserted actual photos into the photomount cards. This way recipients can take the photo out and keep it, and we were able to get cards with glitter and bows (squee!).
I have two of them on my desk at work, here is a crappy iphone pic:
I found some designs on Etsy that you purchase and they create the card for you then you just get them printed yourself
I made mine at tinyprints.com. I really like them - the paper quality is much thicker than I expected (I picked the glossy paper).
I LOVE minted, but it's a bit too expensive for me at the moment, especially after just paying for a wedding. So, we used snapfish. They look really great, I was very happy.
We used Vistaprint, which is crazy cheap, but shipping is ridiculous (either more than it should be and sloooooooooow, or WAY more than it should be and not as fast as you'd hope!). But the quality is fine. :)
Vistaprint is so damn cheap. You just missed the holiday card sale (with free 3 day shipping). They'll prob have another. I will let you know how ours turn out.

We got married at the end of May but it was abroad and not many of my relatives and friends were able to go. Since we just sent out plain thank-you's, I thought it would be nice to send out a wedding photo christmas card. We don't have the edited ones back (except for the one pic I will be using) so not many people have seen our wedding pics anyways.
I need a suggestion for where to get reasonably priced, high-quality cards made! I want them to be pretty thick and well printed of course. And do most people choose matte or glossy? What is your experience with tiny prints, vistaprint, pear tree, shutterfly, etc? Or do you have any other suggestions?
Any tips or "newlywed" greetings to use also would be great! Thanks!
