Does anyone know any online companies that will print your own design in thermography? I have searched and searched and cannot find anyone that doesn't simply print for trade, or only prints their designs. Please help! I adore letterpress, but I'm trying to save money since I need around 300 invitations printed.

I used littleladybugpress for my thermography invites. She is a graphic designer and has contacts for printing. She sent the invites to someone to get printed then did the rest herself (envelopes, RSVP cards, etc.) She was very good. I told her I liked a design off of a website and she said she couldn't use it exactly but she could design something very close to it for me so she wouldn't be infringing on copyrights. So.... if you can prove it is your design I am sure she will do this.

She has pictures of some of her stuff up at http://www.flickr.com/photos/littleladybugpress   My invites are "invites3"

I would think any of the etsy graphic designers would do this for you too. That is just who I worked with. I wanted silver on blue.... my only options were letterpress or thermography.

You may also want to contact local printers in your area and ask if they do thermography.  We found one where we live that does thermography, and our invites turned out great and much cheaper than if we hadn't designed them ourselves.

We got our thermographic printing done by Parkland Printing and Graphics. You can see my invites here to check out what their work looks like. I was very pleased with their customer service, their pricing, and the product. I think thermography is even better than letterpress to the touch, personally, and it's more affordable!
