I was hopng I could get some of your feedback… We are getting married end of August and are going on our honeymoon anytime during February, we want to go for about 10-12 days (depending on cost) and want to be able to go somewhere romantic and relaxing as well as having the option of actvities like horseback riding, swimming with the dolphns, ziplines, dune buggies etc…
We aren’t sure where to go but were thinking of Aruba, St. Lucia, Mexico (not sure where) or Bahamas…? Please let me know if you have been to any of these areas or have any suggestions of anywhere else?
We def want to to go an all inclusive…suggestions…feedback? Please help! 🙂

St. Lucia is sooo gorgeous. I’ve never been there, but I would love to go sometime. If I could pick anywhere to honeymoon, it’d be the carribean

Don’t go to Bahamas in February because it’s cold. I went during spring break, and it was still cold. I would recommend as close to the equator you can get. I think that would be Aruba.

I just came back from my honeymoon in Cancun and I know that Selvatica tours, offers dune buggies, horseback riding, ziplining. We also had the option to go swim with dolphins but couldn’t fit it in.
We went to an adult only all inclusive and had an amazing time. Check out my post.
Secrets Silversands in Cancun is where we went. For a 7 day trip, the resort cost us about $2700 and that included airfare. We spent about $700 in excursions, pictures and gifts.
We did originally wanted to go to the caribbean for our hm but didn’t want to spend more than $3000 for a 7 day trip. Plus we really wanted to relax and not have deal with kids which is why we went to an adult only all inclusive.

FI and I have been to Aruba twice and LOVE it there! The beaches are gorgeous, there are a lot of options for sailing and snorkeling tours, there are tons of water sports and parasailing right off of Palm Beach, the restaurants are amazing, and you can do jeep tours of the island that people rave about. It’s also super easy to get around (which makes for a nice low stress vacation) and we found it to be such a friendly island. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. And if you end up with Aruba, I have a couple of “must visit” restaurant recs for you 🙂

I suggest Costa Rica. Lots of adventure and beaches too.
