@iijjaneyii:  I just got my wedding ring from OroSpot on Etsy and it’s gorgeous! They also had some really pretty engagement rings that made me a little jealous that I hadn’t looked there first!

FI and I picked out my engagement ring at Sam’s Club. They have really good prices and beautiful rings! You might want to try Sam’s Club or Costco.

I highly recommend James Allen. I purchased a diamond from their website and the prices are  pretty much better than everywhere I looked (and I did a lot of research!) Remember that if you  visit the Pricescope website first and then click on James Allen from the vendors or diamonds search page, you get a $150 discount on your diamond or ring.

Additionally, you can see hugely magnified images of your diamond before buying. My diamohad was graded an SI2 and I could see some small marks in the images, bit I knew in real life I would never be able to see them. And because the diamond was graded an SI2, it was a great price! And it looks gorgeous in real life

Hope this doesn’t seem rude, but how much were you (or fiancé) thinking of spending o this ring?

@iijjaneyii:  Oh and another great thing about James Allen (I swear I dont work for them!) is that when you pick out the diamonds on the site that you like, you can request ASET images for those diamonds (these images give you info about the light performance of the diamond) and the consultant you speak to can actually get hold of the diamond and tell you if its eye-clean or not by inspecting it for you. Blue Nile cant do this as they actually do not have access to any of the diamonds they sell.

They also kept me informed every step of the way during the delivery process and followed up with me after my diamond was delivered. I was impressed!

Hope you have as just as good experience as I did when selecting and purchasing your diamond. I have my ring now and cant stop looking at it. All the best!

I would look at RareEarth on etsy, uhm SamnSue on etsy and I know there are other great sellers on Etsy that are willing to work with you 100% 🙂
