I don’t want to order online, and I also know that there are some places that have free templates for printing, but I’d like to know of any stores that may carry wedding invitations/sets? I was told that Hobby Lobby might sell them. I’m on a limited budget, but am trying to find the nicest possible. Any suggestions would be wonderful. Thank you. 🙂

@erinbacher: Some bridal stores like David’s Bridal and Alfred Angelo have wedding invitations. Also, Michael’s has them too.

Michaels definitely has some nice options, and I know you don’t want to order online, but if you change your mind, I highly recommend ordering from WeddingPaperDivas.com. We’ve had such a great experience with them with our save the dates and we just ordered our invitations from them today. The STDs looked amazing and they’re pretty moderately priced.

Lots of places carry them–Michael’s, Joann Fabrics, Hobby Lobby. However, you will have MUCH better luck as far as price and styles go if you buy online. VistaPrint has some cute ones that are really inexpensive AND they always have sales/Groupons running (plus you can request a free sample kit from them to see paper and printing quality). Wedding Chicks has some cute free templates that you can download and have printed through places like VistaPrint, too.
Why are you opposed to purchasing online?

I bought mine at Michael’s. They have a 40% off coupon every week so I just had my mom and friends pick some up (since it was one per customer). My invite came with designs already on them so we just had to print them! I didn’t read through the invitation suite contents thoroughly though so I ended up purchasing extra paper for the reception card inserts. Total cost was only $130 for 150 of them. I got tons of compliments on them too!

If you are on a really tight budget, I think I’ve seen them in WalMart before! My SIL bought her’s on clearance at Michael’s, she bought a few different sets, and didn’t care that they looked different for the guests.

Honestly, if you have a bit of time, keep your eyes out at places like Winners and Ross.
We got ours from Winners for $5 a box. They were from Michaels originally, marked down to the Winners price, and then on double clearance.
Just look in unexpected places and you might be able to find some really good deals.

Target and Party City also carry printable ones. I think I did pay about the same for mine online as from the store but they were printed and mailed for me (included in price).
