We just went to Jos. A. Banks. BM had just bought a new one from there Wednesday night. When I called to see prices for rental, I found that if I hit a good sale at JAB, we could buy a new tuxedo for about the price of the rental. Of course, the purchase price didn't include the shirt, studs, tie or shoes, but FI now owns a tuxedo. Once we'd figured out that it was a good idea to purchase one, I signed up for JAB emails and scored a 25% off coupon, so we ended up buying the tuxedo for under $150 (pants & jacket). They let us take it home and if it ends up being the wrong size a month before the wedding, we can exchange/alter it then.
