Bees -- I'm looking to sell some bridal items and need recommendations of what websites to use.  I've posted them here under Classifieds already (couple of months ago) and haven't gotten any bites.  Do any of you know of other wedding sites where I can post them?  I've never used E-bay but maybe it's time?  I really don't want to pay a fee to post an item.  The items include hair flower, shoes, long line bra, rehearsal dress, etc.

You can always try your local craigslist.  Thats free and easy.

I've bought and sold on this site as well, but everything gets bumped so quickly it seems you have to time it just right. It's pretty frustrating.

Have you looked at Bravobride or considered Craigslist? My huband thinks I should just have a wedding yardsale. :)

Ohhh - I have not heard of Bravobride so I will check it out.  Thanks for the rec!

I agree with your hubby!!  A bridal yard sale is a great idea for both sellers and buyers.  All things wedding have such ridiculous mark-ups ~ no one should have to pay those prices!

Does Ebay charge to post items for sale?

I would try craigslist...my stuff was bought up in a matter of days after I posted on there.

I sold my stuff on craigslist.  A little frustrating because lots of people said they wanted them but then didn't, or didn't read the ad.  I very clearly in my ad said rectangular tablecloths and I would get questions if they were round.  I also had people who wanted to rent my tablecloths.  I am not a business! Good luck!

@guitargirl: Hey, shoulda gone ahead and rented them! Make some money ;). Then sell them. hehehe.... I'm doing that with my chargers, I have them listed for rent while I wait to use them for my wedding. Not sure if i will get any takers but - what do I have to lose?
